Inviting compound in a mixed use area on the north side of town. Taproom is open to a patio on the left, opposite the bar, and there is an additional patio out front. Straight bar perpendicular to the entrance seats about a dozen with a service area in the middle. 18 beers on tap, single cans to go. Dedicated food trucks on the side patio.

Huge place with seating inside and out. Outside seating is heated. Saturday night it was bustling. Pretty big tap list to chose from. Reminded me of a German beerhall. Good service, nice environment.

Based on the music being played on the sound system, while sipping a good tasting flight, this place could be rated a 5. The music at this visit was modern hard and psychedelic underground rock by various artists, such as Wooden Shjips, Goat, The Pack A.D. , Witch & The Black Angels. Back to the taproom. Three of the walls are all glass and were retracted on this nice early September day. There are 3+ food trucks parked on the side, so caloric intake can be done here in the form of solid matter, not just liquid calories, via beer. The beer is good but not special. The Czech style pilsner was the favorite. The room is modern wood and concrete and there are many picnic tables out front with carport style roofing over them, a good place for pooches as well out there.

Food carts, indoor and outdoor seating. It is a Dog friendly place. The selection of beer is nice, The sampler flight was reasonably preceded for four small snifters.
I will go back.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful service. Nice airy (on nice days) warehouse taproom. 4 regular beers, 7 seasonal/limited, 1 nitro and 1 cask on tap at the time of my visit. Beers lean to the bold side, which will probably most people reading this.

I really enjoyed this place. I had a flight of 4 beers and although it was a quiet afternoon people were there. The beer selection was great, definitely hard to choose which beers I wanted. The service was quick and very friendly. If I lived closer, this would be my go to watering hole.

This place is great, and puts an interesting spin on the public house. Big huge roll up garage style doors open up the whole place, leaving it feel very open air, which is really nice on a hot day. It has a nice layout, quality furnishing, and interesting local artwork! Most importantly, the beer selection is varied and high quality throughout (berliner weisse, sour, dipas, espresso stout, amber ipa, some of my favorites. Daily food trucks and carts show up around 5, so there's always some pretty awesome food choices.

I had a wonderful time here. I am from Eugene, but recently moved to Portland.
Went in the middle of the afternoon, and as able to talk shop with the bartender. Good bar atmosphere, not sure how it is in the later hours but could see it running well.

Located in the ever burgeoning Whiteaker area of Eugene, the new pub is a sizeable place, with high ceilings and goodly number of tables and chairs. As you walk in from Madison Street, you'll see a good size, L shaped bar in front of you to the right. My recollection is that there's something like 10 or 15 seats at the bar, which is also where patrons sitting in the dining area are expected to place their orders (there's no table service). The place has something of a warehouse vibe about it, but otherwise it's a comfortable place to hang out and have a beer or three. There's aslo a good size patio area directly back from the bar, and on the weekends, they often will have a food truck serving pizzas and the like (there's no kitchen here).

Selection has been pretty decent the times I've stopped by. They have all the core Oakshire beers on tap. along with 5 or 6 seasonals and/or limited release stuff. Sometimes they'll have a firkin going as well, and in addition to draft beer, you can also buy bottles and growlers to go (you can bring your own; you don't have to buy their glassware). They usually have something on special for growler take out, so you can usually get something to go here for under $10. Growler and draft prices otherwise vary, depending on the abv. and/or whether it's barrel aged. Quality of Oakshire stuff varies, but nothing is bad (IMHO). I've liked their DIPA (perfect storm) and some of the barrel aged stuff, and the line dry rye, watersheed IPA, cascade dark and espresso stout all seem to sell well.

So far, I've only been over here a couple of times after work on Friday, but considering how new this place is (it opened back in April I believe), it's amazing how popular this place is (it's been packed every time I've stopped by). Given the current set-up, it can sometimes take a little while to get a beer, if you don't happen to be sitting at the bar.

The Whiteaker area (where the pub is located) has become an increasingly good place to pub crawl (ninkasi, Sam bond's garage, and the new Hop Valley tasting room are all within walking distance), and this is just one more great addition to the area.
