Hannah was an exceptional server. She gave me a free pint of choice for my birthday and allowed my sister to take a poster of her favorite brew. Even though I'm from out of state, I'd definitely go back next time in in town.

A large and lively facility with multiple places to enjoy your beer. 21 on tap on the evening of my visit, with a preference for APA and IPA styles. Somewhat slow but friendly service.

Had a flight sampler, very nice waitresses, had a window so you could see them brewing inside. Wonderful selection with I think 27 taps if memory serves me right. Had a good time and would go again and would recommend it to anyone. Great outdoor seating area and ample parking. Not expensive and very reasonably priced. Had good beer conversation with one of the waitresses.

Stopped for the first time yesterday. To say I was impressed would be an understatement.

The website calls this place a tasting room, but I really think that conveys the wrong sort of message. This place is good size, with two large dining halls and then a sizeable outside patio. The dining rooms have high ceilings, and you can watch the brewing and bottling operation from the back dining hall. The place has a very comfortable, informal vibe to it, and I got a laugh out of the two sign posts in the main room, which point out (in feet) the distance to Ninkasi and the Oakshire Public House.

The selection here was also quite good, with some 24 or 25 tap handles of Hop Valley beer, and I believe one cider. One can order bottles to go or for on site consumption, and then they also do growler fills, keg sales and corny keg fills/sales. This place is about as user friendly as I've seen. Hop Valley beers have started to grow on me, as so far I've really enjoyed the pils, the citrus mistress IPA and the Alpha Centauri DIPA. The food menu is pretty limited at the present time, consisting of things like Pizzas/flatbread, pretzels, wings and the like. I say presently, because this place is good size, and I suspect they could expand the food menu eventually if they want to.

The folks working here are very friendly, and I know the manager here (who used to work at Belmont Station) knows her stuff about beer. That being said, there's no table service (you order food and beer at the counter in the main dining hall), so it's hard to give this place a very high service score. Prices are OK, with most of the core beers selling for around $4 a pint, but with the DIPA selling for $5 (presented in a 16 ounce tulip). My glass of Alpha Centauri was very fresh and delicious (as you would expect), though next time I'm going to try to force myself to order something else.

I liked this place a lot and will definitely be back soon.
