Mispillion River Brewery has a cozy tasting room with 10 of their beers on tap that can be sampled for $20 or single pints for $5/6. Their year round offerings are usually available for 32 or 64 oz growler fills. They have a food truck most evenings and a band on the weekend. Their beers tend not be be highly hopped ipas but multiple styles and tastes with lower IBUs. This is a great place to stop on the way south from PA to the DE beaches as it is not far off DE Rt 1.

Pretty small taproom in an industrial park. Nothing fancy going on, a small bar and a few tables. Windows behind the bar open on to the brewery. 10-ish taps, flights available. Cozy, friendly, ample parking.

Nice little taproom near the coast. It is small and a bit out of the way but worth the drive off Coastal Highway. Beer is very good, with a wide selection of styles. Staff is always helpful and willing to help you find what you like.

Decent place, but nothing special. Service was okay, but locals are definitely more important than others. I had to ask if they served flights as nothing was listed that I saw. Instead of having beers numbered, you have to fill out a form and write out the name of each beer in the flight you want. Selection was okay. They have outdoor seating under a roof which is nice. A little off the beaten path, but worth a stop if you have tried any of their beers.

Great selection of beers and friendly local vibe. Has indoor and outdoor seating. It is the perfect location to stop on or from the way to the beach.

this is a small industrial building - a small bar, some tables, and a take-out cooler. When we stopped by to pickup a couple six packs while driving through town, it was packed inside. Took 10 minutes just to buy the to-go beer. The draftlist had their normal lineup plus some exclusive brews that aren't canned.

MRB is a wonderful place with a great atmosphere. The tasting room has a welcoming atmosphere with a wonderful staff. Flights are available, take home beer is available, and the selection of beers is great.

My daughter and I stopped in early evening. I love Black Tie, and was looking forward to the possibility of trying one fresh from the tap. They had 8 beers on tap, but Black Tie wasn't one of them. I was looking to buy a shirt, but I only saw 3 or 4 "Not Today Satan" shirts. I asked if they had any other shirts, and was told they were in the process of changing the styles. I asked if they had any glasses for sale, and the bartender apologized.. they don't. All they had was a sticker for $1. I purchased that and a 6 pack of Black Tie. My daughter wanted to pick up 6 Reach Around's for my son-in-law, but that wasn't available. We finished our beer and left.
I'm going to give them a semi-mulligan on the swag and stuff.. I understand by their website they are redoing the brewery. I'll stop back in after November to see what's what. If things have gotten better, I'll certainly change my rating.

I visited this brewery on my way to the beach, I had a flight and all the beer was food. I wish they distributed in my area as I normally don’t go this out of my way to the beach.

Went the day after Christmas, small tap room with a bunch of high tops. TV playing college football. Bar seats about 12. Great beers all around, very fresh and quite tasty. Service gets dinged a bit since the place was pretty busy but there was only one server. Was nice being able to buy a growler and cans as well. Had about 10-11 beers on tap. Great place to stop by if you're in DE!

Accidentally showed up an hour before they were supposed to open. The bartender still opened up the doors and served us.
This place always has great beers, worth a stop any time.

Very nice place to drink a beer. The taproom itself was pretty nice. They have a bar area with maybe 10 barstools, and quite a few tables.
They had 10 different beers on tap. You could get a flight of 5 beers for $ 10.00 or 10 beers for $ 20.00. You could also get pints of any of their beers, and had 3 or 4 beers available in six packs to go.
They don't offer food, but at least today they had a food truck, which was really nice.
Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Just stopped in for a growler fill. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. The place itself is kinda odd (a pre-engineered metal building in an industrial park) but they did what they could to make it cozy and kinda like a bar. And you can see the brewing operation from the bar (glass window conveniently situated).
But what the hey - decor isn't everything. They turn out some pretty decent brews!

The wife and I stopped at Mispillion along with some friends on our way down to Rehoboth. The brewery and taproom are in an industrial park outside downtown Milford.
There is plenty of parking and a nice patio with a food truck (when we visited, it was delicious street Mexican food made by two gringos, The Black Burro).
The taproom itself is rather small. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and it was already pretty busy. Of the ten beers on tap I really enjoyed the Triple IPA. The regular IPA and Black Pale Ale are good, as was the Oatmeal Coffee Stout and the odd VII Sword Golden Stout. But there were also plenty of blah beers, including Beach Bum, Azacca Citra, Jarrylo Pale Ale and :0 Face Oatmeal Stout.
10 tasters for $20 is a good deal and a good time was had here. I only wish the beers were better/more interesting. Will definitely go back.

Small, fun, easy to relax and enjoy. Wide variety of beers. Some misses, but some very good "hits". Their Glendora oatmeal coffee stout is one of the best I have had. Fun to explore beers. Worth stopping...especially if you like switching between many styles of freshly brewed beer.
