Middleton Brewing

This brewery recently made a big expansion to their seating area complete with long tables for parties. Worst first: The food was akin to something I would mix up for a movie at home (and wish for better) my tacos comprised of gristly beef and cold corn tortillas which immediately broke apart. That said it was a cool place to sit inside or out, the server was very friendly, kind, and helpful. This is a smaller place with 12 total taps of which 6 were Middleton Standards, 5 were their seasonals, and one was a guest cider. The majority of the beers were blended or included some fruit including blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, ginger & lemongrass, lime and cilantro, walnut almond coconut, coconut, tangerine randall, jalapeno, and honey. I believe from the taste of the 7 brews tried and a minor server comment that all beers were on nitro. This made several of the low ABV brews taste watered down without enough backbone to standout. There were two standouts that I would drink again. The stout I took out in a howler.

Update. Upon return I enjoyed all four beers tried and none lacked for flavor.
They were all quite good!

Middleton brewing is an excellent place to get a beer hang with friends and make new ones! The atmosphere is cheerful and easy going. The inside is always very clean and there's usually a few dogs walking around! The staff is very friendly and the nachos are out of this world! Also try the beer cheese soup. The beer is top notch if you appreciate quality, creative beers! Can't say enough about this brewery.

I stopped in at Middleton Brewing last Saturday. It's a neat little place, though tucked away around back of a strip mall. I like the environment; chill, with a dog roaming around and a very homey feel. Service was decent, about what you'd expect from such a place.

In general, the beers didn't enthrall me. They had about a dozen taps, and I had one of the IPAs and the Oreo Milk Stout. The last one was an interesting experiment, but I felt like the IPA could have been a lot cleaner. I would like to check out more of their beers, sometime, though.
