Visited 8-25-22 for the purpose of lunch and a chair lift ride. The rains started and lasted too long so we opted not to get soaked outside LOL!
Vibe was off-season resort, maybe 1/3 filled, split between retirees and mountain bikers.
Quality of the beer was solid as Da Boss and i both gave our beers a good rating.
Service was not friendly at the order-taking area however the kitchen gal was friendly. Self serve all the way.
Selection was very good as there were around 16 taps with 14 being home-brewed. Styles included Lagers, IPA's, sour, saison, porter, brown, and scotch ale.
Food was good as we had a grilled chicken and brisket sandwich on oversized buns.
Overall a destination place at the end of NC-184 which is pretty steep and twisty-turny. Handy if you are there for skiing, biking, or doing the chair lift.
