Visited on a Friday afternoon.
Located in an industrial park it is a large, up-scale looking space with bar seating, tables to sit at and some sofas and chairs in the area between the bar and restaurant side. Plenty of room. It wasn't very busy but I overheard the staff talking about the smaller than usual crowd. (perhaps due to the rain and heavy traffic)
The bar is stocked with hard liquor, they had ice water and non-alcoholic drinks in a cooler as well as a good stock of carry out beer. Eighteen beers were available, I believe fourteen on tap and four can pours. They have four pinball machines which is a plus for me but loud hip-hop music giving it a club feel which isn't for me so much.
My server was friendly, knowledgeable, and a self proclaimed beer-nerd, we carried on a beer discussion when their were no orders to fill.

I stopped here for happy hour while traveling on business. Don't mind the office park location- that translates into lots of parking and there is a ton of room once you get inside! The beers were eclectic and had one flight. The beer was good but a bit off the beaten track which is not a bad thing. It was lively when I was there and good vibe with people really enjoying their craft beer. I'm glad I checked it out.

Vibe: It's in an office park, so there is nothing going on outside. Very similar to Calvert, in that regard. But they more than make up for it inside. This is one of my favorite breweries in Maryland. They have a shuffleboard table, arcade golf and a full kitchen.
Quality: As far as quality goes, Jailbreak is super underrated. They have a lot of cool experimental stuff, they do a lot of berliner style sours that I enjoy and Feed the Monkey is one of my all time favorites.
Service: Take the tour here! Rossy, one of the brewers who did my tour, was an amazing guide. Dude is a true craft beer fan and really fun to talk to. Bartenders are usually pretty nice.
Selection: they have a lot of taps and a lot of different styles.

Stopped by for some quick pours and a light lunch. Really enjoyed my time.
Easy to get to, park, etc.
Large 2 part bar/tasting and seating area. Separate room/ bar was filled with a special event, but main area was open.
Vibe and setting were bright and lively; fun knowledgeable people at and behind the bar. Plenty of room; cool tunes.
Had the Korean Tacos; excellent but surprised only 2 in a mod high cost ... considering on Monday Funday/all day happy hour.
Very nice selection of their beers on tap and a few by can pours. I went big, and the bigger stouts, porters and a barleywine... some BA were excellent. Just not used to having the quality and variety of complex BA beers here in MD... where we do have some pretty good big beer breweries too.
Highly recommended.

I stopped by this place to pick up some six packs to go, and it was absolutely mobbed at about 7:30 on a weeknight. So they must draw a big happy hour crowd, and mostly twenty somethings. very young crowd. There are two bars, they have food, and there is a take-out cooler of cans and merchandise too.

Located in an office park, Jailbreak does a good job to give the space character. Ample room with games and arcade machines. Screens are located throughout the space listing the brews on tap- enjoyable not to crane your head to pick your next brew. Prices were reasonable and service was good. I was pleasantly surprise by many of the offerings- cask pale, cherry cream, and coffee belgian were all excellent. I would love to see a bit more deviation from the canned staples that I can get in stores, though certainly no points off for that. I didn't get a chance to try the food though prices seemed reasonable and it looked solid.

I was doing a little fun/educational trip with my daughter in region of Baltimore-DC-Rehoboth, but that's no reason to not visit a new brewery. Just so happened Jailbreak was the ideal brewery that synced up with our schedule. It was a rushed but enjoyable experience. It's located in a semi-industrial strip mall, so more of a refurbished warehouse space. Very nice layout, with a large bar, plenty of tables, and a couch area with a large TV. Child and pet friendly. It was very packed and busy on Friday evening, but we managed fine, and the bartenders were keeping up with the crowd just fine. There was a good amount of beer to chose from, and I went with the 4-glass sample flight. Nothing spectacular, but everything I tried was decent. Cans for sale as well. Food truck out front hit the spot for us. This is a cool spot, and worth checking out.

Visited on a Saturday evening during a fund raising event so it was packed. Even so, the service was quick and the wheat beer (Feed the Monkey) was tasty. The food truck was serving Greek food. You can't take the beer outside but you can take the food in.

One of the more established and better local breweries. They have interesting core and rotating beers and some of the better imperial stout programs in the area. The brewery itself is very nice, although it can get very loud when it's busy. Overall it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Great new brewery in the MD/DC area. Very open space inside with a huge TV/projector to watch football. There is a younger, hipsterish crowd, so be sure to get here during the 'off' hours because seating fills up fast. There is nothing but beer served here, so make sure you tell your non-beer drinker friends that they only serve beer. As far as the beer, it's pretty good. My favorite is Big Punisher, which is a great DIPA. Also be sure to check out Welcome to Scoville, which has a great jalapeno, IPA taste.
No food except for their food trucks outside, so be sure to check out their webpage/facebook page on when they will be there.

Best brewery taproom in the DMV. Good foodtrucks outside. Dogs and children welcome. Nice glassware and lots of options including R&D beers. Too bad the beer isnt better.... although it has improved and some of the stronger ales are excellent.

Really nice CLEAN open space inside. Location like so many places is in a strip mall. Not much character from outside but inside very spacious and a cool vibe.
Beers are okay, some definitely better than others. There is a pretty great selection and even if you don't love all the styles you can probably find something that suits you. I tried 10 of the offerings and none were bad, a few were pretty good.
No food so food trucks come on site. The day I went the food wasn't going to start flowing until after 2:30 so we didn't eat and moved on to get some food.
People there were friendly, customers and staff. Service could have been a bit more attentive. The Rock Bot app for the music is fine but incredibly limited in its queue.

Really great new place that has popped up about 20 minutes from where I live in the suburbs of DC. They have plenty of seating around a "U" shaped bar and also has a lot of beer hall style seating where large groups or strangers can mingle and share a drink (additionally, there are some larger cushioned seats and couches along with a shuffleboard table that allow for people to feel like they're hanging out in their friends den). There is a huge window that let's you see the pristine brewing operation that takes place in the back, nice clean industrial feel to the whole thing.
Rotating food trucks and the option to bring in your own food alleviates concerns around consuming too much of their delicious beer without filling your stomach! Staff seemed very friendly and happy to answer any questions I had about their specialty offerings and new brews. Prior to my visit I had only enjoyed their Big Punisher and Welcome to Scoville offerings, so I was pleasantly surprised to see there were quite a variety of others I had yet to experience; ranging from a cucumber saison, basil wit bier, and their Belgian strong dark ale...which had just tapped that day!
Can't wait to go back soon and take my buddies there when they visit from out of town.

Relatively new place. Another brewery with taproom/pub accommodations. MD is starting to really grow into a microbrew mecca (Heavy Seas, Jailbreak, Duclaw, Flying Dog, etc.). Felt like a fun place. Big open area with some tables, and a taproom bar. Beer is decent quality, Scoville Japapeno is pretty good, Big Punisher DIPA also not bad. They're creating more beers regularly. Service was not great, but more due to big crowd of patrons & not enough servers. Selection is moderate but growing.
