Bad Beat Brewing opened in July 2014 by Nathan Hall born out of his love of poker and craft beer. Never one to shy away from a gamble, Nathan sold his house and spent every dollar in his bank account to fund his dream. A Bad Beat in the poker world means you’re the underdog and starting a craft brewery in Las Vegas is definitely against the odds. 11 years later Bad Beat once again put all the money in the middle and moved to the Arts District creating a destination brewery with craft cocktails and wine! You can bring in food from nearby eateries, have a few pints, and throw some darts!

Andrew is pretty awesome. Got to spend a good amount of time on a slower day to chat. Nice space for old NES classics and sports too. Definitely a spot to visit next time.

this place is cool, apparently started a long time ago outside of town but not recently opened up in the booming arts district, aka brewery row, its awesome how much there is to do for a beer guy in these blocks, best part of vegas for my money! open feel in here, chill area up front with a pool table and a kind of retro decor, a long bar down the middle of the place on the right with lots of seats, the brewery opposite, all open, love the working brewery vibe but also the way it feels put together, like a nice trendy living room or something, some chill zones in the back behind that, even an outdoor area in the back, they have made good use of a kind of odd space, very inviting without trying too hard, subtly designy and pleasing. they had a nice beer list, more than a dozen of their own and a few guest taps, full bar, something for everyone i would think. i really dug a version of their rice lager with ethiopian coffee in it, but also thought the foeder aged blonde was unique, and overall i appreciated the diversity and ambition of the beer menu, some clever stuff pouring. service was fine, not the most friendly or chatty but he got the job done, pretty relaxed place overall, some bros shooting pool up front, a few folks working on computers during the day, some folks drinking hard, a nice mix. a definite place to stop and and check out when making the brewery rounds here, still new but some cool things happening, and a good addition to the neighborhood no doubt. ill be back with more time when i am in town next, lots of beers looked intriguing. coffee lager for the win.

Review of the location on Main Street in the Arts District. Street front address just south of Imperial Avenue. Street parking. Lower ceiling with exposed beams painted beige, gray and beige painted walls, and a gray concrete floor. Front windows let in natural light. L-shaped bar to the right side. Open view to the left of brewing equipment. Other seating at lounge areas with couches and cushioned chairs. One high table surrounding a tree. Other hanging plants that get natural light at the entrance. Sixteen taps, mostly Bad Beat of standard styles, and a few guest beers. Also offers cocktails and wine. Cordial and helpful staff. Good sound system playing a range of standard rock hit songs. Comfortable seating and a laid back character, that fits the neighborhood.

Modern industrial park on the edge of Henderson, NV. Crafthaus Brewing was literally a few hundred feet away and there is also a distiller in the same complex. Tiny taproom with a few modern touches but a spare, college hangout bar feel. The night I visited there was one female bartender who was friendly and enthusiastic about their beer. Laid back local crowd, mostly small groups of friends hanging out. Prices were good for the Las Vegas area. They had about 12 taps with 4 flagship brews and other seasonals. The house beers seemed to be mostly US and German styles the night I was there. A taster flight of 4 beers of your choice was available. The beers I had were good but not great. This was a laid-back, comfortable place, but I enjoyed the beers around the corner at Crafthaus much better.

Local hangout taproom with bar games and big screen. Z-shaped bar seats 8 to 10. Plenty of tables around the room. 12 beers on tap, the three that I had were solid. Friendly service, sell some single bottles and 6 pack cans.

I visited Bad Beat earlier this week while on a trip to Las Vegas. It's a bit out of the way, out in Henderson, but it's in the same industrial park as CraftHaus and so it's worth heading out there. When I visited, they had 11 taps available, including some unusual finds like an altbier. The beers I sampled were decent, although frankly nothing blew me out of the water. Service was decent enough as well.
The vibe of the place is cool, although when I was there there was a church hymnal sing-along going on. I'm sure this is not their everyday entertainment, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for when I'm out visiting breweries.

Located in a warehouse section of town. Once inside you will notice a smallish L shaped bar in the back, a few high tables, and some bean bag chairs. Looks like there are Nintendo games here if interested. There were 8 beers on draft here covering a few different styles. The beers I had were really good and exceeded my expectations. This place is worthy of a trip - if you are a tourist and have a car then make the effort.

Located in a Henderson industrial park. Bad Beat is kitty corner to CraftHaus so you can visit both breweries at the same time as well as a Distillery and Winery if that is of interest. Bad Beat has a smallish bar area with several high and low tables. There is a projector screen where sports will be on, old school Nintendo and bean bags, dart boards, a shuffle board table and several board games. It has a laid back vibe and is decorated in dark wood accents with a poker theme. Service has always been great.
Tap list is typically their core 5-6 mainstream offerings and 2-3 seasonals. Lately they have added 4-5 guest taps as well and started a barrel program. They're doing great stuff, the beer is a high quality and their IPA Hoppy Times and Pilsner are tops in their styles for Nevada.
