This is a fun, little Irish pub/bar, located on the Southfield service drive, just north of Dearborn, in Detroit. Of course, Guinness is a featured brew and the pickled eggs fly out of the jars, due to some strange liking of this bizarre food. A staple of the St. Patrick's Day scene, a hangout of many off-duty Detroit officers, students from the University of Michigan's Dearborn campus and those who like a small, pub atmosphere. Not a huge selection, but if you like a properly poured Guinness and a shot of Jameson's, then this is the place for you.

I'm biased, I may as well live at this bar. Everyone up there is like family. The owner is quick to buy you a drink, the bartenders are (generally) a friendly lot, and the weekends have Irish music played by one of several local musicians. Beer selection won't wow anyone, but the Guiness is the best in town, and there are a few good beers available. No food to speak of...prepackaged sandwiches and yummy pickled eggs. Weekends are the best for a good crowd and music. Wednesdays can be fun with an open mic night featuring a few brave souls entertaining or annoying depending on your tastes.
