Geaux Brewing

They make very solid beer here, quite impressive actually, the service is very meager you must order food and drinks before sitting down, I found the beer to be rather expensive along with the food, and the food was just OK. I would definitely come back for the beer though

 

 

You really have to be looking for Geaux to find them, as they are tucked in the back of a commercial/industrial park in Bellevue. But they have turned their section of parking lot into a little outdoor beer garden, and the effect is really cool. Inside, they are decorated with all kinds of New Orleans type stuff; a unique theme here in the Pacific Northwest. They've got a big projector for sports as well, if you're into that sort of thing.

While the service and selection are good (13 beers on tap plus guest root beer and cold pressed coffee), one of the beers I had was not so great. I couldn't tell if it was formulation or a quality control issue, but I was not impressed. The other beer I had was pretty good, though, so I'm not abandoning this brewery entirely. But there is room for improvement.

Super friendly. Very laid back. Enthused about craft and the culture.
