This was a last-minute discovery via Google maps while at Seneca Lodge, and when I saw all the crazy saison beers they brew here, I raced to make it there before closing time. This is a world-class brewery in a tiny town, making really unique brews in a mom-and-pop operation.
They have a nice, spacious taproom with 17 taps, no less! 13 of the taps are filled with their own brews (2 were out, sadly), plus a couple of guest ciders.
The folks behind the bar are incredibly nice and will give you samples and chat about the beers they make. The whole jawn feels like being in somebody's living room or garage just having a good time.
I tried several of their creations:
Boonduck (wild saison), 3.5, not very wild
Genovese (tomato basil saison), 4.5
Barb (sour rhubarb), 3.5 not sour enough!
Angus (sour black saison) 4.0
Country Mile APA 3.5 not very hoppy
Ayam Cemani (black saison), 3.6 malty-roasty
O-We-Gose 4.2, cranberry gose
Not all the combinations and wild ingredients they use always work, but I admire the fact that they are indeed doing experimental stuff. This place is pretty much in the middle of nowhere (although close enough to some mid-size towns) and it is a must.

Vintage country store front in an upscale downtown entertainment area. Very hipster vibe. Long bar on the left hand wall seats about 15. 24 very nicely assorted beers on tap. I had the Imperial Post Hole which was quite nice. Friendly, though inexperienced bartender. Enjoyable visit, I look forward to drinking the growler I brought home.

Medium sized brewery with a small town country vibe. All of their beers on tap were very good. This brewery is definitely known for their sours and their dark beer. Their tap list included a west cost IPA, pilsner, porter, stouts, sours, saisons, pale ale, and a hefeweizen The bartender and other patrons were very friendly. All beers were good but their Mama Maple Llama stood out the most. It was an Imperial BBA stout and it was so silky smooth with a sweet finish from the syrup and a lingering chocolate boozyness from the bourbon. This brewery also uses 85%-94% of NY ingredients on all beers that were on tap. The Mama Maple Llama in my opinion beats Founder's CBS. Awesome brewery and I will definitely be re visiting!
