Went in cold and was pleasantly surprised to find a sharp looking place. Our bartender was busy but not too busy to offer opinions and suggestions. The space is huge and I only took a peek at the lower level. Seems like it would be a great place for a small event. The beer was average to good based on our samples. I liked most their coffee porter, Carpe Noctem.

Stopped in here for a couple beers after visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The service was good and attentive. The selection is decent. The vibe is nice, the speakeasy downstairs looks cool as shit, I'd go back just to check that out a little more. Overall not a bad spot.

Went there for lunch on a weekday, when only the upstairs was open. The place was spacious and clean, a modern look. Downstairs looked like a nice place to congregate and enjoy a few pints with friends. It had a pseudo-theme of being an old time speakeasy, but was newly finished. I could see the vibe score going higher if the downstairs lived up to its potential.

They had 8 beers available upstairs, and apparently 14 downstairs, so not sure what we missed out on. They covered the basic pale ale and darker porter/stout. There wasn't too much branching out from there in our selection. What we had were all tasty, with a couple standing out and a couple seeming debatable to style, but still enjoyable.

The place wasn't too busy, and the bartender was very friendly and understanding of our out-of-town visit. The food selection seemed to be slightly up-scaled version of basic American bar food fare. The dishes we decided upon satisfied us both.

If/when we make our way back to the area, I'd love to stop by on a weekend evening and check out the downstairs when it's in use.

This place has a main floor that was very crowded with a bunch of tables to eat or drink at and a bar. Downstairs is an entire other bar and seating area with couches to lounge on and a nice large bar and high top tables. The downstairs is all brick and has a speakeasy vibe that is very cool. The beers are fairly solid as well, this is a place where you just want to hang out at. Had a pizza while not jaw dropping was pretty decent. The service was good as well. This is worth checking out if you are in the area just for the downstairs bar!

I've only ever been here in the afternoon, so I can't speak to the evening "vibe". But I've always enjoyed myself here. Nice place, laid back atmosphere, and friendly staff. Everything I've tried from the menu has been top notch, as brewery food goes. And I have yet to have a bad beer. The Buckeye Pie and Carpe Noctem porter are personal favorites.

I went with "world class" for the quality because this is one of the prettier breweries/restaurants I have been in. Beautiful brick and stone warehouse look downstairs with TONS of seating, a large bar and projector, cornhole boards, sofas and chairs, and a barrel aging room. 15,000 sq ft. in the basement alone I believe. Really has a pre-prohibition feel. Upstairs there is a bar and restaurant. I did not have a chance to eat. Would be nice to see some guest taps/bottles in the future based on the size of the place.

A nice stop, after visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I was a little thrown off by the doorman. The restaurant upstairs is nice, and the quality and selection are both decent. The big room downstairs seems cool, if that's you're thing. Canton seems to get a new brewery every week. I'm not sure I'd stop here again, with so many others places to check out.

Carpe Noctum this is the only good beer they make. I found a few to be undrinkable and so did my wife.
