Good beer. Overpriced, run of the mill food. OK, service, nothing special or notable.

Visited for dinner when camping at the nearby White Lake State Park. There is a 3 side bar in the center of the restaurant then tables around it and a sunken back dining area as well. We sat at the bar because it was a busy Friday night and there was a long wait for a table. I had pints of the Italian-style Pilsner and the Stout, and a short pour of the Barrel Aged barleywine. All were good. The two bartenders were hustling, serving all the folks eating/drinking at the bar while pouring all the drinks for the dinner tables. My wife and I both had burgers that were tasty, and the sweet potato and Cajun fries were both good too.

Fun place to visit with a decent selection of their own, and other local, brews on tap. Decent food and a nice tavern atmosphere. Surprised to see lower reviews here. Would happily return if I'm in the area.

Were in Tamworth for a wedding and weekend adventure. Decided to stop here for a lunch visit the day before the wedding. Easy to find right on route 16 and large signage. Easy parking at the location.
Walking in there is a typical host station for seating. Some brewery schwag is for sale at the entrance as is a cooler of to-go 16 oz cans.
we wait for a minute or two to get seated and are then brought to a table by our server. She was friendly enough for service.
Area is several table chair combos with a large rectangle bar in the center of the room
Menu was not very large and is typical pub grub. Beer choices are pretty diverse, but there are more IPAs than anything. There is a porter, brown ale, black lager and an American Stout mixed in with about 4 to 6 hop centric brews. There are some draft options available that are not canned and I dont see growlers or crowlers on the menu as an option.
We order spinach artichoke dip with house made tortillas. There were only two of this and the order was way too much food, serving size was more like four people. Server didnt warn us about the large size, so we ended up not eating about 50% of the dish.
I ordered a porter as my beer and a turkey burger BYO with side ceasar salad. The porter was fine, decent roasty notes with some chocolate, but wasnt mind blowing. Also ended up getting house made potato chips which was a mistake by the server. Salad was over dressed and the burger was over cooked, so food was kinda meh. My wife had a large salad with turkey burger as the added protein and found it also to be a little bland.
They do offer $2 off per 4 pack of cans if you order as part of table service as opposed to the host/hostess. Also their Cold brook hoppy lager is avail for $40 a case.
Overall the experience was kind of meh altogether and I bought fewer beers to go than originally expected. Ill be doing full reviews of the cold brook and the model T stout later.
This isnt a destination to pursue, but it worked for the area we were in which didnt feature a lot of options. For what its worth we didnt go back on the second day we were in the area.

Nice spot along Rte 16 in the White Mountains. Classy looking joint with big square bar in the back.

Good selection of house beers - had a juice-haze IPA & a malty brown ale which were solid - not mind-blowing but a notch above average.

The 2 ladies behind the bar were super friendly, though I was served the incorrect sandwich , didn't notice till halfway through - no harm, as it was good anyway.

Only drawback was that it was a bit pricey for the area. Entrees seemed ~ $4 or $5 too much, beers were Boston- priced.

Decent spot to seek out if you're in the MWV area ore just passing through on Rte 16. Not a destination, but solid for what it's seeking to be.

Popped over with my family and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very good side restaurant and bar, clean bathrooms, and all around nice looking restaurant.

Around 6 of there own beers on draft and a few other local beers. It was winter and they had a excellent Barleywine, Black IPA, and few other excellent choices for the cool months, pretty impressed with both beers I had, could tell that these brewer's were honing there craft.

As good as the experience was for me, why wife was very happy with the food for her and our 3 kids. I got a shrimp and beef Korean stir fry that was spectacular.

Not sure why others gave it a lower grade, but I was extremely satisfied and will be going back when ever I get a chance.

Stopped by here twice on a recent trip to North Conway. We planned to eat lunch there on the way up and were so impressed that we had to stop on our way back home. The space is very interesting..a mix of lodge and modern decor. Very open feel with some couches and a nice and airy back porch. The beer menu had about eight styles brewed in house. The styles were standard styles, a pale, stout, pils, wit--nothing too boundary pushing. Tried five beers and all were executed well. The only one I really did not care for was the pils, and even that I have had a lot worse. Service was fantastic and knowledgeable. The reason to stop here however is the food. One of the better food selections I have had at a brewery in a while. They have a pastry crusted mushroom appetizer that is amazing. I am picky about veggie burgers and their home made one was delicious. My kids also enjoyed their home made food. A bit pricey, but it did not seem outrageous for the area. Bottom line is amazing food, good not great beer, well worth a stop.

Stopped in here last month with the family on the way back from Maine. Great location at the intersection of 16 and 25. Rustic wood beams stone fireplace with couches and a square bar in the middle with a decent sized patio in the back. They had 8 or 10 brews on they day we stopped in, decent to pretty good. Mostly pub fare on the menu, but done very well. My wife said it was one of the best French Onion soups she'd ever had. Service was quite attentive on the midweek lunch session. Seemed a bit expensive even for a tourist area. I would go back if I were in the area.

I am rating this place based on what I experienced on a visit 7/20/14. We drove by here and saw the big black sign that said BREWING CO. We thought, great, we'll stop for lunch. We woke our sleeping son up, and went inside. Well, it's not a brewery yet!! It's just a tavern with some local beers on tap and a little mention on the menu that says "brewery coming soon". How about putting that on your sign out front?? Our son was already awake and cranky, so we can't get back in the car now without eating. The place is really nice inside, with a big outdoor patio out back. We sat next to a couple from NH who said they got sucked in too when they saw BREWING, just like we did too. Our waitress had no idea about beer. She was saying names wrong, and had to read them off a cheat sheet, and even left out some. The food came, and while my sandwich was decent, my wife's flatbread looks like a mess, and the couple next to us sent their overcooked burger back. Then we noticed we didn't get any flatware, and I had to get them. Overall, the place was a huge letdown. If you are going to open a brewpub, then open one from the start. Don't get a prime spot on the highway and pull in unsuspecting guests with a big sign. There were plenty of other taverns we could have stopped at.
