Spacious upscale dining spot with a beer focus.
Room for a couple hundred people in varied locations. To the left upon entry you will find easily 30 spots at a long slinky bar backed by 75 or so draft handles. Another high top section for 2 or four each and seating 30. A third standard restaurant 4-top, or larger for groups, section that seats close to 50. On good days, and some easy rain days with a covered section for 8 people approximately, is an outdoor patio to the left of the entrance that seats probably 40.
Valet parking will ease some concern about parking.
Beer centric, but I think I have become jaded. As I look through the 90 tap pulls my mind goes back to trading baseball cards: got it, got it, got it, need it. Many more 'gots' than 'wants' or 'needs'. But still, a large, and deep, selection of really good beer, that 6 years ago would have been unheard of.
Service was excellent, as expected. You get what you pay for: it is Oak Brook. After lunch crowd was growing and the one bartender was more than up to the task. Prompt, knowledgable, just short of pushy, and clearly enjoying the job.
Food was delicious. I had grilled fish tacos that were perfect with the Green Flash and Half Acre beers.
Three giant screen projectors with soccer on mid-day could be seen from everywhere in the place, yet with the sound at a level that allowed for conversation.
Solid place, great beer variety, knowledgable staff, and you'll pay for it. 3 beers and the tacos were $45 with tip.

I have been here three times now and thought a review was in order.
The Pour House is located at the SW corner of the tony Oak Brook Mall. Parking can get problematic when busy, but they do offer valet service.
They have a very nice outdoor terrace in front with both small and group tables. Table service is pretty solid with decent beer knowledge. It does tend to slow down when it starts to get crowded. It does seem to take a long time for beers to arrive, but the food comes out pretty quick.
Inside there is a long bar on the south wall. They have some pretty impressive tap towers. I’m guessing the bar seats 40+. There are also a couple of dining areas in the main room and I seem to recall rooms for private dinners/parties.
It is usually pretty crowded with lots of business people and shoppers. They have TVs above the bar so you can catch the big games. Music on the patio can be a bit loud.
Beer selection is very solid with a wide variety of brewers and styles. They bring in new stuff all the time and everything I have had has been in top shape. Note they offer 90 taps with 75 being craft.
Note that serving sizes tend to be smaller and prices tend to be larger… For example, I can get the same beer 1 mile away at Pints for $2 less and at Pints they give you 4 oz. more. However, this place has some great beers that are hard to find, so it may be worth a visit.
Food is very good and prices are slightly better than the beer. I have sampled and enjoyed their chili (made with beer) BBQ and burgers.
This is a great place, but bring extra cash or your credit cards.
