Cheaha Brewing Company

Great location in a former train station in downtown Anniston, Alabama. At the time of a visit in July 2019, they only had one of their own beers on tap from their own brewery. The remaining guest beers on tap were of an average variety. Wish the brewing operations were more inspired because it's a great space

 

 

 

Good food, all organic and mostly local. Wide beer selection. The usual suspects along with some interesting alternatives.

The place is an old rail station. Has a cool feel to it. Nice big open room with a huge bar. They had nine of their beers on tap and several bottles of another local brewery (Back Forty). The food I had was standard bar food and it was done well. Wait staff was knowledgeable about their beer and friendly. The beer was good. Good variety. The oatmeal stout was the favorite from the party of folks I was there with. IPA and Christmas beer were good as well.
