Last Stand Brewing Company

 

Small brewery a short way from Jester King... hopping St Patty's crowd. Long L-shaped bar seats 18 with some counter tables and large outdoor patio. 10 beers on tap, the one I had was solid. Friendly server. Did not try food.

 

 

This is one of my local breweries and they have really upgraded the taproom and beirgarden in that there are many places to sit and drink a beer. Parking can be limited as they are located in a small commercial development with a couple other businesses. They have had GORDOs BBQ trailer onsite for food. The staff is friendly and eager to help you understand and enjoy their beers. Beergarden has a stage, many shade oak trees, cornhole(shade awning too low to actually play), 3 roaming chickens and a lot of friendly patrons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Great place and wonderful vibe. Super laid back and the best coffee porter on the planet.

Amazing how this new brewery, right down the street from Jester King, is just one year old, and its beers have the profiles of taste that are more like a 10 year operation. Kerry is an outstanding brewer, and the beers I tried, Imperial stout, coffee porter, wild ale, and a Belgian pale ale. All were great, and I can't wait to go back as Kerry has his I.S. and BPA in bourbon barrels for a small lot! And two of them are in four roses barrels! Absolutely understand how Last Stand was named best new Brewery in TX this year!
