Restoration Brew Worx

Stopped in for a couple of quick ones while passing through Delaware and I was glad I did. Pleasant tap room with lots of seating and some interesting folk art pieces displayed on the wall. The beers I had were very good and well-made according to style. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable about the beers, of which a variety of styles was represented. Restoration is located in downtown Delaware and has a nice little patio out front for enjoying the surroundings. Recommended.

We stopped here for a late lunch and to try the beers. The brewery is located in a storefront setting in the middle of the main drag thru town. Parking is at the curb, and there may be a lot at the rear. The brewing equipment is in the rear section of the building. The interior of the pub area has been gutted with the second story flooring removed so that the brick walls of the second floor and the wooden floor joists from above are now visible. The first floor walls are covered with framed art and t-shirts for sale. The long bar is along the right-side wall and seats around 20 customers. I like this vibe! It was after the noon lunch rush when we arrived, so there was plenty of seating and the service was very good. The front sidewalk also has patio seating.

There ere 12 beers and one cider on tap, all available in full or half-pours plus samplers. We ordered a sampler flight of 4 beers to try to arrive at an overall evaluation of the brewery's beers. All four were brewed well to style. I liked the two American IPAs the best, and my wife liked the Irish Red and the German Pilsner the best. Our overall rating gives them a B-minus score.

The food menu was fairly typical of pub food except for the 'pterodactyl' wings (turkey wings). I ordered them since I've never had deep-fried turkey. They're a bit tough, but tasty. Some beers are available in crowlers or cans to go (I don't know the filling method), and I saw growlers too. This place is a worthy visit – highly recommended!

 

Selections of everything great. Beer! And lots of it. Great place for beers and good. Staff was wonderful. Only complaint, not on place but area there are no great parking options on busy nights.

Stopped by on a Tuesday evening for some dinner and beer. Good location, nice restored old building. Long bar on the right hand side of the place. Laid back vibe, service and was quick and attentive. Food was classic pub grub, very good. Strong beer selection, great mix of brew types.

I stopped in on the way home yesterday mid-afternoon; there were just a few patrons along with the staff so I didn't get a true picture of the atmosphere but they did have a decent selection. The Chorizo Tots were pretty good, spicy chili over nice crispy tots.

 

Nice spot, just outside of Columbus. Plenty of sidewalk charm and decent beer on tap. I didn't try any food, but the beer was well made and the staff was super friendly. There are two breweries in town, so you can make a day of it.

Good sized storefront with a little outdoor seating on the sidewalk. Easily accommodated the couple of large groups with room for antsy kids to move around and not annoy other patrons. A good flight system which is great for first time visitors. Eight or nine house beers on tap with a good cross-section of styles. Service was attentive because it was not too busy. Unfortunately slow enough to afford the server time to eat finger food at the bar while not serving.
