A pithy explosion of aroma and flavor, beyond hazy, and hopped with Mosaic and Citra to the point of stickiness.

While not usually a fan of the NEIPA Haze, was always a fan of the brewer Jeff 'Chief' O'Neil...Cascazilla & Flower Power, especially, then various Peekskill brews.
When he opened IA, he set out to make, and I'm paraphrasing here, 'the best IPA available at any gas station.'
Well, it is available everywhere here in the Hudson Valley (actually grabbed this one in NJ, pkgd 1/21/26) and, yeah, I can see why it's so popular.
Beautiful presentation.
Tons of pineapple and citrus pith, touch of acidic lemon; pillowy soft and super fresh and bright.
You've most likely had this one, but def worth a trip back to the ol' tool chest to grab a Wrench

19.2oz canned 10-21-25, opened 2-8-25.
2 finger off white head with decent retention. Pale golden body and fully opaque. Wispy lacing throughout.
Stone fruit and mango in a subdued but stylish aroma.
Apricot, peach, mango on a creamy malt base.
Medium plus body, soft mouthfeel and low to moderate bitterness.
Very Good.

My current favorite...just beats out Maine Lunch. A good, smooth hazy with just the right amount of citrus finish...not too grapefruity (which I don't like).

True to form, this one is a hazy ale. Orange in color, completely opaque, almost milky in consistency. The head is bright white, thick, and rocky. The aroma has a faint citrus juice and rind note. Not as aromatic as expected. The taste has some heft...juicy, bitter, malt. Well balanced. Nice bitter hop finish. The body is medium-full and the beer is drinkable.

Copenhagen 11/1 2021. 47,3 vcl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Silver can with some sketchy drawings of machines and tools to underline that this is indeed an industrial arts brew.

Pours opaque, hazy golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.

Aroma is intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a sharp citric scent. Sweet pale malts. Fruity hints of melon an mango. Fermented boozy scent. Citrus and grape fruit.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, watery, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.

Fairly pleasant for a Indian Pale Ale that apparently comes out of a Industrial complex.
