Easy to get to location but with some limited parking. Inside is a clean and simple wood-heavy motif that is warm and well divided for seating comfortably. Neat chalkboard room for kids as it is kid and friendly dog friendly. Servers are very quick and on top of any needs you might have. Also they were very pleasant to talk with too. Beers are good and have a good variety of offerings. Food trucks do visit on weekends and has a good size beer garden.

Farmstrong has twelve taps. While their top rated brews on BA are of the Saison, Barleywine, and Gose varieties, when I visited it was very much American and Mexican fare. Sessions, West Coast IPA's and Lagers. You know - the best sellers in these parts...
Two taps sold out including a stout. One Root beer and one cider. Otherwise, a pale, an IPA, an IIPA, a Wit, two lagers and a Pilsner, and a guest brewery Porter.
The staff was cool, laid back and attempting to make conversation. The interior was clean and modern with a C-shaped bar and plenty of seating for the space. Only three selections caned as of yet but I was happy with the clean taste of the beers even if they played it a tad safe - they were well executed and showed some skill in the brewing.
A should-try.

Farmstrong Brewing in Mount Vernon is a pretty cool place. Kind of a funky hipster brewery in a dark, pub-like atmosphere; the beer is served in mason jars; I felt right at home. I tried several of the beers, and they do a good job with their saison and their limited-run sours. Service was great, staff are friendly and eager to talk beer; it probably helped that it was pretty quiet in there when I visited. 10 or so taps, with a food truck out back and some outdoor seating as well. It's worth a revisit.
