The place is just what you expect from a small taproom in a good way. Food was pretty good. Great waitress with lots of beer knowledge. I liked the beers I had but disappointed in the variety. No browns, porters or stouts. Too many IPAs and sours.

Stopped by here a few times over the years, never dropped a review I guess. My latest visit was on a slow Saturday summer night. Pub serves food, but as I just came from dinner, no food this time. Seven taps going, and two beer slushies available. Interior is a little small but lots of covered seating is available on the porch that goes around the strip mall it's located in. Decent brews with a neighborhood bar vibe.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon during a business trip and had a great time. Got a seat at the bar and they let me change channel to watch a ballgame (not the Tigers) and staff ended up talking to me as I killed a few hours there. Beer selection is limited quantity wise, I think 10 taps, and selection is only a handful of beer styles but each beer I had was good. Besides quality beers and service the food is pretty good as well and there's no reason not to visit if you're in town.

fun little spot here, smallish taproom, just a handful of seats at the bar and a space that felt fullish with about 25 people in it. low ceilings and feeling like they are probably already close to capacity with their production. they only had a few beers on when we were there, apparently they had run out of a lot of things, but they had a few that just blew me away. their hazy beer is becoming well known in the area, and rightly so, the reclassified ipa with honey was amazing, by far my favorite one we had in here, but i liked the full spectrum and one featuring michigan grown centennial hops as well. they had a cool maple coconut porter that was overly sweet but real tasty, and an interesting berliner with peaches and basil, definitely ambitious and diverse beers, i just wish they had more of them to chose from. their food menu looked awesome too, but the kitchen was limited when we were in too, we had some nice charcuterie, but i wish the rest was available, it looked killer! ill be back to check it out for sure. good energy in here, a youthful exuberance in here, high energy, high stoke from employees and they were really cool to us. the beer overall is very good, still a little unrefined, but its on its way to greatness i think. keep an eye out for these guys...

Stopped in for lunch with my family. Set in a pseudo strip mall but its really very nice. Once in the door, you would have no idea the location. The interior is rustic wood, iron pipe tables, live edge bar near some brewing equipment. Decent size but not too big; bar seats, high tops and longer tables for bigger groups. Beer menu had 10 or 12 taps I think..? Decent variety too. There were a a couple IPA/DIPAs, black gose, cherry cream ale, and what I really came for, the big imperial barrel aged stouts. The beer was definitely above average but a few were just not that great. I won't spoil it for anyone on what beers were slightly above homebrew. The food is all scratch made. We went with some appetizers and a few tacos. Overall, glad to check this brewery off my list and I'll be back for more.

Best brewery in SE MI. Arguably best in state. Phenomenal beers, awesome staff, epic food. You cannot go wrong with this place.

Really need to work on beer quality. Nothing stands out. Food was amazing, service was amazing, but the beer needs work. The service was so good I want the beer to be good so maybe in a year it can improve.

My wife and I stopped here to try their beers and to have dinner. This is a newly-opened brewery that is located in a strip type building that has a kind of a farmhouse or cottage style that has a full front porch that also adjoins their business neighbors. The location is on a busy commercial street and parking is at the front of the building.

The interior has nice vibe to it. The short bar has only 10 stools, but there is plenty of table seating. Reclaimed strips of wood are used to accent the walls, and corrugated steel is used as the bar front. The table tops also appeared to be reclaimed wood. The brewing equipment is located along one of the side walls with a chair-height bar in front of it.

We ordered a sampler flight of 6 beers (11 were available) to go along with our food. Each of the beers was brewed well to style, and our scoring for them ranged from 3.5 to 4.25. The notable one was the BBA 800# Gorilla Imperial Stout, although we also thought that the 15-mile Coconut Almond Maple Porter and the Buy The Ticket Wild Ale were also well done.

The food choices were mainly starters, soups, salads, and sandwiches, but each has a bit of a twist to it. We considered our choices to be better than the average pub food. This is a pub that is worthy of a revisit when we're back in the neighborhood.

Stopped by at 6 on a Saturday. Not a very large place, and it was moderately busy. 14 of their own on tap, lots of variety. Vibe was lively, servers attentive. I'd be happy to come back again, but I bet it gets busy in peak times

Decent brewpub in a strip mall. Very low key, well-lit interior. 6-10 brews on at any given time. Good variety of styles when I was there recently. good true-to-style beers. Food is decent. Nothing mindblowing, but solid beer-drinking food, with a local/fresh angle. A definite plus for the city of Novi.

Neat smallish taproom in a strip mall, beer was overall good, not great yet. Hated having mug club only taps, why even have on draft board?!? Besides that, service was good, overall beer selection was varied and great with a couple of tasty offerings. The food was fantastic.

So I've been here a couple times now, and I've got to say that this brewery is pretty great. The atmosphere/vibe is pretty laid back. Decor is full of wood with some communal tables and some four tops.
The beer, I thought, was great. They do everything solid, from the trendy barrel aged beers (RBA I need Gorillaz was killer) to the most basic. All the beers I had were true to their style. They had two different double IPAs (Jade and Silent Bob and NovIPA) that were fantastic!
The food is very local and unique. All offerings seem to make sense and go well with beer.
I will be back again soon.

We were really impressed with Ascension. Beer selection was good, not great. Food was awesome, but don't expect big hearty meals. The food selection was local and fresh - but smaller plates. First time around, we tasted a number of their beers. Nothing stood out as fabulous, but ALL of them were good. We will be back.

A worthwhile stop for sure. Feels like there is some potential here.
Older mall type building. Open floor plan, lots of wood. Bar top, some tables, a couple communal type picnic tables. Couple dart boards.
Pretty good creative food with higher quality ingredients.
Beers were solid, maybe not remarkable. Had their regular IPA, coffee stout, coconut/maple/nut porter. They bad some big barrel aged stuff on a while back but was out.
