Located in a shopping center, easy to find, clean and decent vibe. The bar tender let me taste their entire selection and most of the beers were bland and tasted old. I finally tasted the Imperial Stout and that was fine. The food was good. We had a flat bread and some poppers. The service was fair. You have to go to the bar to order food and beer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Great attention to detail. Owners are very attentive to their customers. Good variety of beer styles and all done very well. Good food and atmosphere.

 

 

Order at the bar while poaching your own seats.

While they are going for an English pub vibe, it's a little awkward for the deep Ohio suburbs. It's more than a little loud at times, to the point that an owner/manager couldn't really talk to us when he wanted to, not to mention personal conversations were a little limited. Ordering and paying before you receive anything is also awkward, especially if they forget something, so make sure to print your receipt after they pull the "this is the tip you should give" tablet move that a lot of small businesses do nowadays. While they do a good job of checking up on how you are doing at your table of choice, to forcibly suggest a tip when service is decidedly minimal is kind of shameful IMO, but they aren't the only ones doing it. It just brought to mind the fact that there is no tipping in Europe, so, hey, why not stick with the theme here in the U.S.?

After I make it look like those minor criticisms are piling up, (it's a lot but they're new), this is actually a pretty quality place to try some brews and get some good, tasty bites to eat.

They brew a great variety of beers, some of which are very tasty, all of which are fresh and of a good quality. Also, the food menu had a little of everything, but we tried to stick to the English pub offerings. Those were pretty well done, and the out of place items were also pretty good as well. Everything seems freshly prepared.

I've noticed lately a lot of these upstart breweries are really trying to hit just about every style. It's always good to experiment, but trying to please everyone can be detrimental to your brand. Again, they are new so they may find their strength soon enough, but at some point they should focus on what they like and what they do best.

 

Did not spend much time here on my first visit, but I did have one beer and some food. The food is very good and the service was quick. The overall feel of the place is ok, felt a bit cramped when I was there, but it was busy. I enjoyed the beer, Because Belgian, and would like to go back to try some more of their beers.
