Beachwood Blendery

Hard to review selection for a taproom that only serves sours, but I'll go ahead and assume that mostly only people who like sours are coming here.

The range of experimentation means there is something everyone is bound to enjoy. The quality is top notch and the vision is incredible. The Blendery will be known across the nation within 5 years for making some of the best sours in the country and pushing the American Lambic style forward

 

 

 

 

Beachwood was killing it with very good beers, still is. All locations are good, good service, and worth a stop in. Great sours, and a nice California vibe.

 

 

 

Beachwood Blendery is located a block from their original Long Beach brewery establishment. The interior was nice. Near the entrance is the bar area with taps where you can order your beers. They had some tables and chairs with board games for patrons. I did see an area in the back with barrels that I didn't enter, so that may have been extra space to sit down and enjoy beers. The front area was sort of small, and it was crowded today.

The service was good. I had a flight of four tasters. The beers were solid. Nice extra was the 2-hour free city parking lot in a covered garage across the street from their other brewery. When in the area again, I'd like to try their other offerings. I enjoyed my visit.
