Hole in the wall location. No parking anywhere nearby. Went to the grocery store (Sobey’’s) about 10 minutes walk away. Cool intimate location with great bar seating and outdoor patio seating. The seats at the bar appear to be 2 seaters from old school buses (yes, you sit side by side with your seat mate.)

Bartender was knowledgeable and fun. The people at the bar were fun. The beer was good to ok…nothing off, just average neighborhood good beer. Several styles brewed on site. What I tried was solid.

Overall, a taproom I’d hangout at if I was local. I would definitely go back and drink beers here.

This is a quaint yet comfortable and engaging spot. The beers on tap during my visit were good but I think improvements could be made. Still, a welcome addition to the vibrant Halifax beer scene.

The venue is top notch. Dog friendly, with very friendly and accommodating staff. My only gripe, as a avid homebrewer I feel like the beer leaves alot to be desired. Can't have it all.

My favorite experience in Halifax. Modern hip urban place but with lots of wooden personality, a bit small though and very popular locally. Small terrace that accept dogs. Very friendly service and I really like the robot theme. A couple of oldschool arcades like Street fighter 2! (in Halifax they seem to like old arcades, my hotel had one and I've played Terminator 2 for an hour) A second door will show the brewery and lots of cool merch. High quality beers, some of the best ones in town, they make very good adjuncts! (a rare find) Around 10-15 taps of their stuff. I highly recommend this place. Oh and they make beer related food now, tried the garlic bread, simple but good! (3.75 for food)

Enough different styles on tap that there's something for everyone.
They actually offer table service rather than counter service, which was a novelty for me in a tasting room.
Server was knowledgeable about the beers and able to make recommendations.
Flights of four and six are available, with no set selection - you choose. Your flight comes with the tasting glasses arranged in a muffin tin, which was surprisingly functional.
