Since 1993, we've created distinctive American ales inspired by traditional brewing methods. As one of Baltimore’s original craft brewers, we’re always pushing the boundaries with new styles, ingredients, and flavors. Grab a seat at our tasting room bar. We’re pouring your favorites plus new beers from the lab. While you’re here, grab a growler to go!

Tour our new 12,000 sq. ft. brewery to see how we brew, hear from our team, and enjoy a few beers. Check out our custom fabricated, 4-vessel, 20-barrel brewhouse made in America by Craftwerk Brewing Systems. You'll also get an inside look at our barrel aging program.

Back when I lived in Bawlmer for a lil’ while in late 2010, Oliver Brewing was just a brewpub in the Inner Harbor, brewing British ales that did not appeal much to my tastes. Fast-forward to 2016 and Oliver now has a nice big brewery and tasting room in the city, not too far from Canton-Fells Point.

The joint is, of course, located in an industrial park. A big open space greets you as you enter and climb up a short flight of stairs. The brewing tanks and operations are right there, and the bar and tasting room are to your left.

Simple-but-nice setup, a bar, 2 high-top tables, a game of cornhole… loud but pretty cool music and only a couple of folks on a Saturday at around 2.30pm (they are open only on Saturdays from 12noon-4pm)

9 taps at the bar, ranging from a Coventry Cream English Bitter to the Hot Smoke Stout, a smoked jawn aged in Jack Daniel’s barrels (delicious!). In between, an oatmeal stout, a Belgian white, a good IPA (Strong Man)… and cans and growlers to go. Friendly folks behind the bar and a good experience overall.

These guys churn out a decent amount of beer and exclusively market them in their 4-5 restaurants throughout the greater Baltimore area. These run the gamut from pub-like to fancy eateries. Worth checking out.
