Relaxing stop around the corner from the Mint. Smallish, 10 seats inside. Great backyard for meeting people and making your own fun.
Beer is well made and the staff is friendly.
I didn't understand the BA stout Big Boy Pants, but enjoyed the Krewe du Brieux amber and the Fancy Daan ESB.

My go to brewery in Nola since 2022 when I resumed going to Jazzfest after an extended hiatus. Cool hole in the wall place on the edge of the French quarter and the Marigny. Knowledgeable staff - shout out to Bryce! Tasty beers. Tasty snacks courtesy Shift.

Stopped by while reminiscing through the French Quarter on the final day of my mini Gulf trip. Tiny place with a decent sized courtyard out back. Seriously, I think there are four chairs at the actual bar. Enjoyed a pilsner and an IPA in the sunny backyard while people watching and doom scrolling. Beer is fine but not terribly memorable. Service was distracted but fine. Still, this has an authentic feel, right off the tourist quarter.

Cool little brewery in an u-and-coming ‘hood. Pretty standard tap list: a few lagers, a west coast IPA + hazy and a couple randos (donut Berliner? Eh). Quality is a little above average for style, nothing stood out. Service was quick, overall nice place

Linking the never-ending bar crawl that is the French Quarter to the quirkily hip Frenchmen St., Brieux (brew) Carré is a comforting respite for any beer geek. It's a small nook of a location with a short wooden bar lined with even shorter countertops near the entrance. Though there is a much more spacious courtyard out the back door, we sat at the wall to watch the Saints game with the locals, and had a great time doing so.
The beer selection is amazingly diverse for such a small place, running the gamut of colors while offering up an impressive array of often underrepresented lagers including Grodziskie, Tmavé Pivo, and German "Landbier," with a select few being poured via Lukr, some of which you can even request as mlíko.
The quality of every beer is high, all meeting a baseline of very drinkable, if not easily exceeding that to damn delicious. Between this spot, Parleaux, Miel, Courtyard, and many more, let alone the classic Avenue Pub and so many other excellent beer bars, New Orleans has a stealthily developed an excellent craft beer scene.

I had the pleasure of stopping in at Brieux Carré while I was in New Orleans last month. They had 15 beers on tap when I visited, including 3 Czech style lagers, 4 other lagers, doppelbock, porter, stout, a fruited sour and a fruited wheat, and 3 IPAs. I really appreciated the wide variety of lagers and especially the Czech styles on offer. I was particularly impressed with the Czech pale lager, and the Czech dark lager was also decent. The IPA I had was less thrilling, but still not bad.
The taproom itself is pretty small, but with a nice beer garden out back and some sidewalk seating in the front as well.
Service was friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere overall was joyous and convivial. Overall, I had a very favorable impression of Brieux Carré.

Blink and you'll miss this place. Tucked away in a broom closet off Frenchmen street, you'd be forgiven for walking past this place multiple times, but it's absolutely worth the trouble of finding it. Belly up to the bar (if you can find a spot) and you'll find a beer menu that's not your standard craft beer fare. Lagers rule the day, including options like a sweet pour.
This place is definitely worth a pit stop between shows and drinks on Frenchmen

A great cozy brewery with a very wide selection of beer styles, that has limited seats up from, but has a large courtyard that can accommodate more people

Randomly found this brewery while wondering around Nola. They specialize in pilsners, they had a German, Czech and New Zealand pils on tap, which you rarely see. The bartender was very conversational and had vast knowledge of all of their beers. The front bar is tiny, but they have a nice outdoor patio in the back. I'd definitely come back.

This was a new to me spot that we hit on our latest visit to New Orleans. As others have described, it is a small spot. A few street side tables, inside is a bar that sits about 6 with a few small standing tables. Pleasant beer garden that has numerous tables and a small stage area.
Service was at the bar and we kept a tab open. They were friendly. I counted about 8 or so beers on tap with a nice range of styles. I had a pivo and their dunkel while Mrs. Rover had two different IPAs. Quality was good.
I would have no issues going back for a return visit as I thought this was an enjoyable stop.

At the edge of the French Quarter, narrow building, small bar to one side, and a few chairs along the wall with small drink tables. You walk past the brewing equipment out the back to a small courtyard with about a dozen tables and barrels with seating. 8 taps, wide variety of styles - when I visited they had a sour, porter, dark mild, hefeweizen, marzen, saison, and 2 IPAs.

Small Brewery location with an outdoor patio where dogs are allowed. Just outside the French Quarter but walkable from Bourbon Street or French Quarter. Smaller size location so it will be crowded. Service was pretty quick, but beer selection was not great. Beers I had were good.

Really cool place. The beers need some work, but the dedication of the employees is more than evident. They asked for reviews and ideas, and well, criticism. This is a place that wants to grow and get better. We had a great experience here, and look forward to see where this brewery is headed.

Stopped here for some samples. it was a tiny place, the bar only seating maybe 5-6 people. I seemed like there was outdoor seating toward the back of the building but we didn't go that far. The service was very friendly and had a good knowledge of things going on in the beer world. The beers were decent, they didn't have much that really blew me away yet but it seems like they're heading in the right direction. Should be interesting to see what they do going forward.

a cool newer operation off of the wonderful frenchman street. its got just a tiny little tasting room bar area when you walk in, crowded in a little corridor area with the tanks in the back, very much a working brewery feel. they have an awesome courtyard out back though, a cozy, shaded, mellow space, secluded and neat, a great place for a beer! i was blown away by how many tap handles they had, maybe close to 20 beers happening, and covering all the bases. i was most impressed with traditional styles in here like esb and biere de garde, and less impressed with new school stuff like dry hopped saison and brut ipa, but i thought most of the beers we had in here were quite good. sounds from the locals like they werent so great when they opened up, but have come a long way in a hurry. our service was fantastic, friendly, generous with samples, and really quite knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the whole thing, great to chat with her about their operation. overall a really cool little place that should not be missed when you are in new orleans, great vibes, something for everyone on their beer menu, and ales across the board that seem to be moving in the right direction. a very cool experience in here!

A nice little spot in the French Quarter. Cool outdoor area. There's a nice selection of various beers that were good. No wait staff and you're supposed to bus your own glassware. They have crowlers, which I love.

Off the beaten path but definitely in an interesting part of town. I like the place and had a nice time chatting with the brewmaster. They even have a dog named Barley. Very friendly, homey vibe with an outdoor beer garden. Had their signature saison, only after I convinced the guy that a sour saison was good with me! It is a bit of a walk through the French Quarter (depending where you stay of course) but a nice place, good beers!
