The wife and I were looking for Adventure Brewing and I saw on the map that a new branch of Strangeways had opened nearby. There we went!
We really enjoyed the original location in Richmond. The one in Fredericksburg is much larger and neater but still funky enough. Plenty of outdoor space, a massive wraparound bar and a ton of weird beers to choose from. They have a couple of Fredericksburg-only brews as well (NEIPA's when we visited).
Friendly folks and a good time.

Lots of seating inside and out. Genuinely enormous bar and impressive beer selection. I think there were 32 beers on tap. Video games, pinball and the usual brewery trappings. There were 2 food trucks outside during my visit. The only downside is the price- maybe I'm a cheap ass, but $5 for a 5 ounce pour seems a little high.
