Donna was backstage at The Garden eating pickles from a jar. In a flash of light, she was pushed onstage and kissed full on the mouth by a beer-drinking Mick Jagger. It was electric! No, not the kiss! The taste in her mouth, beer and pickles! That night Donna’s Pickle Beer was born.

Pours a clear bright golden with dissipating foam in the chalice. Aroma is pickley but not overwhelming. The taste is quite fascinating-- slightly sweet, then salty, and the distinct tang of pickles but not all that sour. Very sprightly and sharpish with plenty of carbonation on the tongue. If you could ever get in the mood for something like this it's actually quite drinkable, especially with the modest alcohol content. Dated b232 if you want to figure out the Julian date.

This looks like a hazy, opaque lager, light brown in color. It taste nothing like a traditional lager and I wouldn’t really say I noticed any lager taste in it. If you like pickle juice, you’ll like this. It does not taste like beer.

Appearance - The beer was glolden in color with visible carbonation and a white head.
Smell - The beer had pickle in the nose, but it was not overly strong.
Taste - This was definitely a pickle beer! The pickle was stronger at the front, fading toward cucumber at the back. The rind was not overpowering. This would be great with a burger or a sidecar to a bloody mary.
Mouthfeel - With full carbonation, this could be a normalish lager.
Overall - Pickle beers are not for everybody, but I like it.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours translucent yellow with a small white head. Smells of pickles, it dominates over the grain. Tastes of sweet pilsner grain with strong pickle notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.
