As I pulled into my hotel, lo and behold, across the street was Peg Leg Brewing, and next door to the hotel they're building their new taproom/restaurant. The current taproom is warehouse-homey, with locals taking shelter from a storm, some in a painting class in their activity room. I tried two beers and was impressed. I plan to visit again sometime, and hopefully their beers enter distribution in the future.

Was not aware of this brewery until I arrived at my hotel, and noticed this place across the street. Sheet metal building on the outside, and sparse on the inside. Had a crowler filled as I waited. Noticed some limited food offerings, including pizza. Looked to be a local crowd, including multi-generational families.

Very Spartan, utilitarian set up and decor. One moderate sized room with several tables, besides the medium sized, wooden bar. They have some creative and atypical beer styles, though all of the four tried, were mediocre at best, nothing to recommend out of that flight. My favorite touch to the interior, were the miniature metal prosthetic, lower legs with mini fake tennis shoes, used as tap handles.

Newish brewery in free-standing sheet steel industrial building on the east side of town. Large open interior with L-shaped bar in the back left hand corner. More than a dozen tables about the room and additional seating on wrap-around patio. A dozen beers on tap, the two I had were solid. Friendly bartender. Limited food offerings. Lively Friday night local crowd.
