I visited Chapels while in Malta a couple weeks back. They're located in the old Farsons brewhouse (Farsons being the biggest and I think oldest Maltese brewery), which has been converted into an event space, restaurants, shops, that sort of thing. The Chapels is on the third floor with a neat outdoor terrace, and shares its space with Red Mill Brewing, which is a "craft" subsidiary of Farsons. So, while Chapels is not itself a brewery, they feature Red Mill's beers and the brewhouse is immediately next to the pub and totally visible, which I always love to see. The vibe of Chapels is much more like a restaurant/bistro, though, with a focus on the food and atmosphere and not so much on the beer.
When I was there, they had four Red Mill beers on tap: an amber, a helles, a pale ale, and and IPA. They also have other bottled beers and cocktails and stuff. The service was typical restaurant service, with a friendly table server. The food, I would say, is the best part of Chapels -- I had beef stew with rustic bread and it was pretty damn good!
I'd say the Chapels is worth a visit because it's in an interesting historic building and the food is good, but I wouldn't really call it a beer destination.
