22oz bomber courtesy of RiversideAK poured into a tulip.

Pours a clear yellow gold with a bubbly white head that recedes to a collar fairly quickly and leaves no lacing.

The aroma is sugary malts and some sweet corn. There are also hints of toasted grains and maybe some hops if you really try to find them.

The taste has a little bit of hops up front but they are quickly swept away by the dominant corn and sweet malt backbone which last through the finish and leaves a sticky sweetness on the tongue with an alcohol burn as well. There is a bit of a toasted grain bitterness that comes out a little as it warms.

The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with decent carbonation and sticky with sweet malts and corn on the palate.

Well, this is, without a doubt, the best malt liquor I've ever tasted. That doesn't put it in the pantheon of overall beers for me, but it's pretty darn drinkable and I wouldn't mind having one of these every once in a while. If only it came in a 40....

Served in straight pint glass. A clear, bright yellow color with a pillowy, bright white head that dissipated fairly quickly, leaving a light to moderate amount of lacing.

A light, sweet aroma with a touch of alcohol greets the nose. The flavor follows along as expected with a corn taste most noticeable. This not surprising as I'm told they use 30 pounds of flaked corn per batch of this brew. There is a bit of a sharp finish on the back of the tongue.

As expected the body was thin, as is typical for the style. While this is a smoothly drinkable beer I wouldn't have more than one of these at a sitting as malt liquor is pretty far down my list of favorite styles. At only 6.4% abv this is not OE800 strength malt liquor.

This is a very good example of this style, pretty much spot on. An enjoyable brew that deserves to be tried if you see it.
