What beer are you drinking now? #127

Three commendable endeavors.

 

First up was a Xingu, now sipping on a Gösser Dark. Love that brew!

 

Boxing cat brewery sucker punch ale....based outta china. Delicious citra hops and a little dry hopping to go with it. It's a night cap here

 

One of my retailer friend said he was getting some LOF brews in soon. I HOPE this is one of them.

 

Gonna head out to my forge and "Get Bent" on some homebrew. While I'm there I'm gonna beat on some Hotmetal until it Gets Bent into the shape of some bottle openers.

 

Continuing on the 'dark" theme I seem to be on, Grand Teton Black Cauldron Imperial Stout is in my glass.

 

10 AM, must be time for some coffee!

I have no idea but I'm hoping it is.
Looking at the pic again...this was a collab with Alpine, right? If it does come to town and it's one from the original batch, I'll still give it a go but man, that wouldn't be all that cool.

 

Yeah, that was the Alpine collab from last August. Haven't heard anything about them getting together for round two and all talk seems to be about the upcoming release of their Rampant IIPA, so I would guess the answer to my question is a negative. Was hoping you had heard something about it.

 

Thanks for the info. Since you're more a tune to the LOF series than I am, any predictions? Sorry to put you on the spot..

I don't pick up the base beer of this very much but it's hitting the spot! I need to shake the fuzz from the Barleywine festival last night...

Tree House brewing Julius IPA



Not pictured is FW 13....not sure why but you can deal with it



12 was a bit oxidized but still delicious and 13 was amazing. We were all expecting it to be good but it wowed us at the start.



This was incredible



Rainbow Rye from half acre. Friends and family type only bottling pretty much from what im told. less than 200 bottles and it was just glorious. Saison/sour with brett currants and lacto. This was probably my favorite of the night. It was amazing...seriously, I want to bathe in it



Upright fantasia batch 1. This shit was incredible.



Blueberry berliner from Night Shift. This was extremely good as well. I look forward to their barrel society



I havent much Cantillon but this was great. 2011 bottle but it was really funky on the nose and was just great. One of my favorites of the night for sure



This was solid but was just really, really hot right now. Obviously at 16% it will be hot but it would be much better in a year or two from now, imo



This was one of my favorites of the FW anny beers. Really, really tasty



First saison from HF and damn...i can understand the hype now. Everyone said batch 3 was better but this was pretty damn delicious



BA Black sun with cherries. Really tasty and surprising. It got even better when it warmed up a lot.



FW 16. Really tasty. Other than 13 i would have to say this was my fav.



12-16 blended together. This was just stupid good. 12 stood out the most actually but was still really, really good



Didnt know what to expect from this but it was excellent



My first taste of pliny....hype deserved imo. Not the best dipa ive had but crazy good nonetheless.



Delicious. very, very delicious
