So I'm due for a work trip to these two fine cities this spring (April-May). My calendar is pretty open, so I'm just curious if there are any beer releases or fests in these cities that I should be aware of that I can schedule my trip around. I may also look to do a stop over in Madison, WI, but that's not a guaranteed stop as I have no reason to be there for work (although Madison is my favorite little city in the US). If I were to do a Wed-Fri trip, with a potential for a Saturday tacked on, when would you recommend? Thanks!
In Chicago, Craft Beer week starts May 16th. Last year they had events going on all over the city. My favorite was Beer Under Glass Fest. It's a medium sized fest (I think there was just over 80 tables scattered through out Garfield Park Conservatory.). Local breweries were well represented and it was just a really nice way to kick off craft week.
