So my box went out Wednesday morning, took a trip backwards to Cali, now en route to someone with an avatar that is not them.

I think the term for what I experienced as I opened my boxes is "beergasm." These things were full of awesomeness. The ****:

An Evolution shaker pint- love it.
Evolution No. 3 IPA- love hops, can't wait to try this.
Evolution No. 6 IIPA- more hops, even better.
Heavy Seas BBA Siren Noire- it doesn't get much better than BBA Impy stouts.
Brewers Art La Petroleuse Ale- looks awesome.
Bruery Saison Rue- want.
Bruery Oude Tart- want.
Firestone Walker Sucaba 2012- huge want. Awesome bottle.
Duclaw Exile 1- a chocolate rye porter. Sounds incredible.
Troegs Nugget Nectar- another huge want. This ones going down tomorrow.
Brewers Art Resurrection- a dubbel in a can? I'm down.
An awesome Brewers Art Chalice.
And to top it all off, the Nov/Dec 2012 issue of Draft. A little light reading for when I'm drinking all this goodness. Seriously Greg (AngusOg)- kick ass box man. Even the non wants turned out to be wants. Cheers and thanks!

I did, and I was thoroughly impressed! Hefs were a style I kinda moved past when I started getting into Craft (most of the ones I see are all BMC out here), now I feel te need to go back out and re-explore them. And thanks to some change/clarification in CA growler laws, I can even reuse the swing top.

Once again what a great box can't wait to crack open the Growler and maybe share it with my friends.

Check the sides of the box, there should be a couple bruery coasters in there if you didn't see them. The growler is Co2 purged and counterpressure filled, so you have some time on it. Filled it a week ago. Melange 3, if you've never tried it, is going to be a want, and a relatively easy one to get more of in the future. This years batch is pretty awesome fresh, so don't feel the need to sit on it for a while.

Also, the Bruery recently changed their tulip design to thicker glass and a wider bulb which wouldn't fit in the shipper. So you have one of the OG tulips that I seem to break one of every other month.

Seriously, I'm glad you liked the box! Every time I'd go shopping, I'd pick up a couple bottles I thought you'd like, then have to drink them because they were all in your distro. Finally I got fed up and started digging in my cellar just to spite you and your "I don't like IPA's and I have similar distro" ways.
