Following a Heady with a Bells Java stout and a BCBS. Apologies to all for not knowing how to rotate pic.

 

Aw h*ll, get a growler fill and be irresponsible when you get home! (I know, fat chance of any place filling a growler of that stuff...bein' a grown up sucks sometimes...just work with me here!...)

 

Everything about this just screams YES, OH GOD YES, PUT IT IN MY MOUTH RIGHT NOW!

 

U lucky bastard. I'm gonna have to go hunt for some now! Just called BevMo...... Sold out in 5 mins

 

Honestly, I'd have to do a side-by-side. They're both great. But I just had a Cuvée Des Jacobins Rouge last night that I thought was even a little better than this.

 

One "beer" a night is a good thing but at least (2) is ideal!

 

Drinking an Uncommon Brewing Golden State Ale while listening to the Sharks game and doing my taxes. Pleasently surprised to find that we're getting money back this year. Woot!

First beer of the night

 

Checking out Craftsman, a Chocolate Oatmeal Stout from Renaissance Brewing in New Zealand. The carbonation in this brew is nuts. No matter how carefully I pour the head is all over the place. It doesn't shrink, either. First, it grows for awhile and then starts to dissipate.

 

Had that one on tap two nights ago, that's a beautiful beer; I definitely prefer the intensity of the younger version. (But the aged ones are pretty darn good too!)

First time having anything from these guys, outstanding!

 

Jus gettin in from steak nite at my job, had tumbler, ruthless rye & about to crack a slumbrew porter square porter next !
