Just wondering what people's thoughts are for this city. I went to Dad's for the first time for a few bottles of beer and was surprised they had a dozen or so bottles of Big John and picked up two myself. I have been to the Woodman's on the west side of Green Bay and think that is pretty much the best option in the area. Are there any other stores worth visiting to find anything?

When I am home I always stop by Three Cellars, but I haven't noticed anything in Green Bay that is too special in the beer department. I often get a mix six at the grocery store when I stop, but I haven't been too impressed with anyone's selection. Thanks.

I have a friend that lives in GB. He swears by Ridgeview. I haven't been disappointed by their selection the couple times I've stopped in as well.

    Yes, Ridgeview. That is all.

Ridgeview by 10 miles. Woodmans has good pricing, but a very limited selection

Also visit Joe's Texas BBQ and Auten's Eatery.

Ridge view is all you need, but Wine Cellars in De Pere has a small but surprisingly decent selection. Less than a ten minute drive between the two. But Ridgview is he best in the area by a longshot. Woodmans in Green Bay isn't as good as other Woodmans through he state but prices are fair.

I'll echo the others - Ridgeview is the best in town. Easily. They're better that Woodmans on distilled spirits as well. Cheapest place in town to get Hendrick's Gin for example by anywhere from 1 dollar to 6.

As to other places to try beer - Lorelei has a pretty great selection on the chalk board, **** and Bull's rotating tap usually has something rather interesting, The Libertine is newer and a place I like to spend time - bigfoot and hopslam on tap there recently. The Bottle Room out in Howard is just okay - caters more to the wine crowd and I've seen no reason to go there over Ridgeview.

I was really disappointed by the bottle room. Even more diappointed that Maria's closed yet again, so quickly. That was some baller mexican food. Haigermeister Park has a lot of taps too, and some are good.

Dont forget to check out Titletown...order a Green 19 IPA and the giant pretzel wth cheese

I'll be at Titletown today. Grand Funk is the best thing I've ever had from them.

Grand Funk is awesome... Flanders Ned is ok, but the Funk is Grand.

Their BBL Barleywine (Legend) was also pretty delicious, but it was too sweet to consume in >5oz pours in single sittings IMO

Thanks for the tips. At Titletown I have had their Johnny Red, Ned Flanders and their Green 19 IPA. IPAs just really aren't a style I like much but the other two beers were real good. I would order both of them again.
