Malone's Pourhouse - Charlotte, NC

    I was at Seneca Place Shopping Center the other day for work and noticed a sign in the window where Lone Star Steakhouse used to be. Apparently there is a new restaurant going in there called Malone's Pourhouse. The sign (and name, obviously) were beer themed. I did a google search and couldn't find much info other than a blank facebook page. Anyone know anything about this place?

    Thanks for the heads up again, Sam. I sent an e-mail to the property manager, who then forwarded this e-mail to the owner. Hope to hear back and get a post up on the site soon.

    Looks like this place is open now but I haven't been in to check it out. Might stop by for a beer today to see if it's actually a craft beer bar or not.

    How did you guess? They had 4 taps and the only thing craft was Fat Tire. You'd think having "pour house" in the name of the place would constitute at the very least a wider selection of draft beer.

    Well that is dissapointing. Perhaps they should change the name to 'poor house'.

    Honestly, how can you open a bar in Charlotte and NOT take advantage of our awesome beer scene and local brews?

    I'm definitely seeing more bars and restaurants dubbing themselves as pourhouses, draughthouses, alehouses or taprooms when they shouldn't be.

    malones pourhouse is now open but we are still in the process of getting all the craft beer in we will have at least 12 drafts on tap soon and local beers as well in stock

    Now have Triple C, Birdsong, NoDa, Catawba, Four Friends, OMB, and Starhill 3 more next week. 1/2 pints Mondays come check us out and thanks for looking us up! Beer suggestions let us know and we'll give it a shot
