Anyone think we need a separate area to trade run of the mill local beers that people can't get in their state? The trading spreadsheet is great but mostly very hard to get stuff.

 

Are you looking for 2011-2012 or 2012-2013?

I live in Florida so the best things I can find that have trade value are from... Cigar City... where we'll be. So... kind of feel like I don't have much to offer. I've got a number of 2012 Zhukovs but it looks like plenty of other people do too. I want to just bring stuff for sharing with people but am kind of in the same situation there. Zhukov. Bet they'll even have it on tap. Can't figure out what to bring.

 

Have you considered any of the Florida malts? 4 Loco, etc?

 

Any one interested in some Yazoo brews? Batch 70 of hop project is out now (amazing), Sue, their smoked porter is rather amazing also. Nothing crazy like most other beers up there, but very good, southern brew.

 

I'm interested in Marshall Z. I've already packed a box for the trip but could stash a couple of extra bottles in my luggage for a 1-2 bottle trade.

 

Not sure what I was thinking. With MZ not on shelves anymore and not again for a while, it makes sense that people would want to trade for it even if visiting the source. I had a look at your linked cellar. I like the CBS, the Cherry Rye, and the King Henry. Thoughts? I also have a Good Gourd if you're interested.

 

Do any of you guys have any of the Funky Buddha stuff? Do they sell outside of the taphouse? I have a friend that wants to try one of their brews and it would be cool to hook that up.

They don't really offically bottle anything yet, any thing they bottled had has been hand bottled gifts for sniffer club members! Growlers coming soon per their twitter feed!
