    Just ordered some Tekus plus a bunch of other glassware (snifter, rastal tasters, regular tasters). So glad I checked tonight!

    i checked it daily for a LONG time from when the announcement was made that they would sell them online to when they actually did. even called and emailed a few times for status. when it was made available, it was posted on BA before i had checked for the day so rather then checking the site every second might as well check here instead.q

    I have been trying for a while, and tonight I finally bought this glass. Can somebody with more knowledge of this explain to me why the Teku is so coveted as a glass? Besides for the fact it's rare.

    I saw this post and bought 2 Tekus and 1 tulip taster glass... spent 35 bucks.

    I don't need anymore glassware.

    They're coveted because they're not widely available outside of Europe. Who really has them available in the US? 3F, Lost Abbey, Eataly and Deschutes. This is the first that I've seen readily available online. It's a lot easier for a brewery to put out a straight up snifter, pint, or other glass than importing a TEKU from overseas.

    And they also look farking cool.

    Also, my girlfriend is a wine-o and is going to be all like "oooh... RASTAL" and then probably try to steal it.
