Good idea! I was planning on bringing a Dark Lord '09 and '11. If someone has a '10 we could get a mini-vertical going.

I'm probably going to bring something else too, but sure what though, and given how much people bring to these 1 bottle each for snark and I is probably enough.

I'll have with me a Cascade Blueberry and a BA Sexual Chocolate 2011.

I have a '10 I could bring. Still trying to decide on what else.

Anyone taking public transportation from the south bay/peninsula and interested in a pre-share on Cal Train?

Hurray mini-vert! Now we just need to find someone with the 08 and earlier!

The nicest thing I have to bring is a rose de gambrinus or 2010 dissident :slight_frown: I feel so out of my league hahahaha. I guess I have some Parabola,Abacus, and Sucaba too but nothing rarer then those.

Don't worry about it. This is not a contest of who's bringing what. I'm going to be more than excited to try that 2010 Dissident. As for verts if anyone has a batch 3 and or a batch 5 beat to bring, I'll bring the 2 and the 4?

Suspect batch 5 should be fairly easy to come by in this crowd...

I was hoping a box from Belgium would land before this, but it didn't happen.

Probably bring kabert, maybe earthmonk, and a couple other things.

Seriously though, that was a really great time. I think it actually worked a bit better when there were only like 15 people, I never got drunk and was able to taste everything we opened (and I don't mean "imbibe", I mean actually taste).

I really like fraggle's idea of just saying "First Sunday of the month" and always doing it then. Or even "First Sunday, third Thursday", or whatever. Just something regular so everyone knows when it's happening.

Oh, here's a list of what I had, and what else I remember:
    Cascade Blueberry
    Alpine Nelson
    Deschutes The Dissident 2010
    Alpine Duet
    Coop Ale Works DNR
    Founders Blushing Monk
    Lost Abbey Veritas 009
    Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus
    Hill Farmstead Abner
Dark Lord 2009, 2010, 2011 (2009 was shockingly good, 2011 was as terrible as I remembered)
    Captain Lawrence Rosso e Marrone
    New Holland Dragon's Milk
    Steel Toe Size 11
    Three Floyds Biggs' 'Stache
    New Holland Blue Sour Sunday
    Weyerbacher Rapture
    Deschutes The Stoic
    De Struise Kabert
    Russian River Beatification (5)
    De Sruise Earthmonk
    Cascade Vlad the Imp Aler
Deschutes The Abyss 2009 (not infected!)
    Bruery Mother Funker
    Bruery Chocosaurus Rye (Thanks fraggle!)
Mother Earth (North Carolina) Tripel Overhead
    Goose Island BCBS Bramble Rye
    Bells Hopslam

Looks like a great list of beers! Unfortunately couldn't make it out for the tasting due to family event obligations throughout the day. If we can schedule something regular, that would be awesome.

    Was a little infected...

Also had BA Sexual Chocolate, Marshall Zhukov '10, Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout, New Glarus Chocolate Abbey and maybe others?

Had a great time, was nice meeting y'all. Thanks Fraggle for hosting.

Cheers to everyone who came and shared, I had a great time as always and it was nice that things were a bit more manageable this time. My highlights were definitely the DNR, Nelson, Blushing Monk, Abner, Chocosaurus and the 09 DL. I'm pretty sure the DL vertical gave me diabeetus but it was worth it! I'll try to get those pics up very soon.

Sorry I missed this one. Making them regular sounds like a good idea BUT I'd love to see at least some of them be Thursday nights (as before). I appreciate that the poll shows I am in the minority here. For me but getting a hall pass for the whole afternoon/early evening is tough especially when you add in the public transit and perhaps being a bit foggy the rest of Sunday night. Much easier for me to taste right after work then transit home and go straight to bed.

Sounds like another great bottleshare/tasting. Might be the first one I've missed.

I'll echo the sentiments of having them on Thursdays from time to time as in the past, if possible. Kind of nice to get off work and head straight over to Beer Rev for the bottle share.
