I've really come around on that Total. I was very suspecting but damn if I haven't had a great experience each time. Unfortunately it's kinda out of the way but they are the only place that's has gotten Sucks that I've seen so I break over there a couple time a month.

Hey DFW, im coming up from Htown tomorrow for the better part of the weekend. Would like to hit up a bottle shop or two, grab some stuff that i might not find in houston. Not entirely sure what part of DFW ill be staying in, would definitely appreciate any suggestions y'all might have.

 

Hall's if you're near Colleyville, Lonestar if you're near 35/Frankford (ish), Kegs & Barrels/Specs/Whole Foods/CM if you're in Plano, and Specs/Whole Foods/Central Market/Total Wine elsewhere. I can't speak at all to Ft Worth/Arlington, but that's the general overview.

 

Any sign of Barrel Ageed Double Pecan Porter this year?

 

Stick to Dallas if you want beers not readily available in Houston ( Deep Ellum, Lakewood, etc)

If you are in Fort Worth. The Saucer is doing their Barleywine Fest on Saturday at noon til whenever the beer is gone. They'll have pours of BA Bigfoot and BA Kickin Chicken (I think that's what it's called but I've kicked back a few myself tonight and am too lazy too look), '12 Bigfoot, Olde School, '11 and '12 Sisyphus on draft.

 

Live Oak Music Hall is doing pours tonight. Cheap tulips... Tasty stuff

 

Specs on Bryant Irvin was the only place I saw palate wrecker and its gone now I believe, but I've seen sucks up there just about every time I've been there.

 

I heard that place is a ghost town...I haven't been in yet but until the highway gets cleared up that place is going to well off my radar. You happen to know if they got the BA Bigfoot there?
