Had one a couple days ago...delicious imperial stout...highest recommendation.

 

Am I the only one who DIDN'T like Imperial Biscotti Break? I've had it twice now, once on tap, once in bottle, and both times I was left wondering why everyone was freaking out about it

 

IBB is the one thing that is all over around me, I've only tried it once, but I think I had a bad bottle. Seemed like I was drinking uncarbonated Coke syrup.

Soft Dookie and Imperial Biscotti Break are both super tasty! BUT .. I'll answer your question. No, Evil Two isn't worth the money.

 

The cans of Hipster are a good deal and it's a very hoppy pale ale that's worth the money. Auld Yin is fantastic as well but I don't remember what I paid for it. I've never been disappointed by a beer I've had from Evil Twin. Mikkeller seems overhyped and overpriced by comparision. Oh, wait. Mikkeller *is* overhyped and overpriced...

 

Nope, it's good, but not $7-12 per 12oz good

 

My hunch is that, since you posted this thread, you really want to buy it & probably will anyway, regardless of what we tell you. So go ahead, & come to your own conclusion.

 

I haven't had a single one I' ve liked. I even had biscotti break and disliked it. I must be spoiled being from the Midwest.

 

Should you, by any chance at all comes across this beer do not even think about walking away from it. It is without a doubt an AMAZING STOUT! I shit you not! Cost me $15.99 per 12ounce bottle and, was worth every damn bit. A tear, ever so small, ran down the side of my face as I finished it.

 

I grabbed one last week. Looking forward to cracking it.

 

I'm a huge fan of Epilogue and Disco Beer (Red Cap). A buddy and I randomly came across Red Cap on draft in Chicago and then started actively seeking out his brews. I've had more hits than misses from him, more so than Mikkeler I think, but that may be a personal bias.

 

I thought Lil B was incredible. (beer formally known as) Black Out Porter was good. The hipsters and all occasion ipa are okay. That's all I remember. Of those, Lil B was the only one worth the money, IMO.

 

I also was very underwhelmed. I'm planning on trying it again to solidify my opinion since I can find bottles pretty easily, but if that's the best they have to offer, I'm not too impressed.

 

My most memorable beer experience involved Biscotti Break.

 

That's a really nice looking beer. IBB is a beer that seems to elude me. Definitely toward the top of my list of beers I want to try.

 

Saw an Evil Twin Ashtray at a liquor store... $12.99 for a 12 oz bottle :|

 

that's the price for the 22 oz. bottle for me. great beer.

 

Simply, INSANE! Makes Maine look like a bargain.
