Yeah, I could see how you'd have to work your way up to it. I had it at a homebrewers club meeting so it was from a totally different perspective. Nobody was overly impressed, but it wasn't being poured down the drain either.

22 years old. Finishing undergrad and then going to grad school next year. I got into craft beer shortly after I turned 21, but didn't keep track of what I drank until that summer. Going strong at 474 unique beers and most certainly counting.

23 here. Started drinking liquor at 17. After our livers started to feel like they were rotting, my friends and I decided to try to cut that out, so we got some Bud. I hated it. Then I went to college and developed a taste for the classiest of beers: Natty Light. I joined a frat and we had some "beers around the world" nights during rush. I loved trying different things but never really liked the taste of any of them. After I turned 21, some older frat alumni took me to some good beer bars where I went to school (Pittsburgh), and I started to like the stuff I was drinking. Last year, I got into homebrewing because of a Groupon discount on a starter kit and that's when everything started to take off. I started to learn about different styles and what makes them tick and I knew that I wanted to try all of them. I drank as many different beers as I could and started to fall in love with some of them. I found this site at the beginning of this year and found out how endless the world of beer is. Now, after trying as many beers as I can, seeking out good beer bars and bottle shops, and attending beer festivals, I can say that I'm completely hooked and I'll never look back. I love beer!

What's up "almost done with undergraduate" buddy. I was hoping to be done this fall, but my school messed with the courses on the summer, making the two classes I'd need to take this summer to graduate in the fall only available during the same. freaking. time. Now I have to take two courses this summer, one in the fall, and two in the spring. Ridiculous.

Stop it. You make me feel old, even though I'm not. Please stop as I was 7 in 1989 and still remember that year very well. Makes me sad.

I started drinking at far too early of an age - my older brother got me annihilated at the age of 11 and I think I enjoyed it too much. I started encouraging my friends to dig into our parents' liquor cabinets and fridges around the age of 13. I was drinking steady with my buddy by the age 15 (by steady I mean tapping his parents' kegorator almost every weekend). The parties started and continued through high school soon after where I consumed more Budweiser, PBR, Jager, and Jack then I care to configure.

I am now 22 , will be 23 in September, and I admit that I'm not necessarily proud of how I carried myself growing up or the crowds that I surrounded myself with but it matured me quick and now I rarely care to get drunk - I'd rather enjoy a nice beer with my pops or my girl and couple friends who actually share this infatuation with me. 18 is when I had my first craft beer that I enjoyed - a Hopluia brewed by Spilker Ales here in Nebraska and I've been going strong since.

I started home brewing a couple years ago which led to me taking a Concise Brewing Course from Siebel Institute last fall which I plan to continue, and also landed a job as an assistant brewer back in October at Upstream Brewing Co. here in Omaha, NE. I Plan to have my own brewery and taphouse opened with my pops within the next 5 years. The Craft Beer Life is a good one. Also, my significant other and I just welcomed our first child into the world two days ago...he's already my best buddy and will be my assistant brewer when we return home from the hospital!

    Cheers everyone!

I'm under 30, and I'm becoming a year older as of the 3rd, in which I will be between the age of 21-29. On another note, I remember Happy Days. Don't ask me the physics of the situation, it may make your head explode. Provided you don't think about Nick at Night.

Don't f*****g think about Nick at Night.
