I was actually surprised Clems only marked it up $2.

That's my buddy and I know for a fact he took that bottle home and threw it away. Whatever bottle you saw wasnt the one in this picture. Nice of you to assume it was him tho and call him out. It's not possible that anybody else brought a bottle of Sang.

If I'm mistaken then I apologize. What are the odds of two Cascade whales being opened at the same event? It's still a good picture, though.

Come on now, Hop. I suppose I can appreciate your intention here, but it turns out you're calling out the wrong guy. He is on BA, and also happens to be about as generous and considerate a beer advocate as you'll meet. Not only did he clean up his bottles, but once the line started moving, he walked around collecting bottles and trash that other people had left on the ground (including a bottle that I had lost track of after it got passed around and jokingly gave me a hard time about it). I ended up helping him, and since we were far enough back in the line that we hadn't seen the dumpster yet, we walked back to his car and put the bottles and trash in the trunk for him to throw away when he got home. As you snarkily point out, that Cascade isn't exactly rare on the West Coast and is quite common at bottle shares. The one left in the parking lot was simply someone else's bottle.

Now if you want to call out the line cutters, especially those that did so to get bottles of CFH, please do so by all means, and I'll be the first to tip my hat.

I'm pretty sure someone towards the end of the line opened the same bottle. I was fortunate to get a pour, and I don't remember it being from the guy in the picture.

Ah, well poor form on my part. I apologize to whoever this is (I still like the picture, though) and cudos to them for helping clean up after others.

I had Silva as one of my first tasters. Thought it was really tasty. After working my way through the taplist, I closed out with Melange 3, BA 4CB and another Silva, and at that point thought that Silva was the "weakest" tasting one amongst those. I really liked BA 4CB. To think that Silva could have stood up to that, man it must have been great in previous iterations.

I opened up a Darkness 2010 in line with a few people. Wish I could have shared more. So many people in this line (locals anyway) were beyond wonderful with sharing a taste of some great beer. Many people I did not know and have never seen at Churchills shared some great beer as well.
