I was just going to stroll in all casual on Wednesday and get some.

Looks like I'll be getting there early.

Never got a growler fill from revolution. By any chance do they fill other breweries growlers?

I believe so. I think Piece is the only area brewpub that will only fill their own branded growlers.

Yes, they fill all growlers. Never tried at 32oz growler though, so not sure the price difference for those (I assume cut in half).

Nope -- at the Straightjacket release, I asked the taproom manager if there was any thought of filling/selling 32oz. growlers and he said no. Josh Deth was right there and confirmed it.

But maybe in the future, things will change. I hope so, at least. I'd like to see more places follow the example of Half Acre, Haymarket and (eventually) Pipeworks.

Cheers to Rev for such a ridiculously easy pickup process. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I'm upset I couldn't stick around, it looked like a good time.

rev is still the king of release events.

edit: if you weren't there, i'm going to take a wild guess and say they will not be sold out today. by next saturday, maybe. but probably not today. also, the free corned beef and cabbage was pretty tasty.

edit 2: they also still had very mad cow and 3rd year, limit two of each. no straight jacket.

Well worth the trek from Evanston ... although I probably did look a bit silly riding the bus with a box full of beer. Easy target for winos.

I tied one on last night and completely slept through the entire release. How is it looking bottle wise?
