Stout BIF - Hints & Hauls

I think Smurf2055 is my sender. I only say that because of the three I have left, he's the only one that gave any sort of evidence to make a conclusion.

 

This is the same reason that I guessed you are my sender. I'm down to 3 as well, but the other two have given minimal clues and yours seem to line up the best.

 

My two boxes are on their way. I just BM'd the tracking numbers to bbPro. Someone up north should have some goodies by the end of this week, barring any of the winter storms going on up there.

 

My boxes are going to be going out most likely tomorrow I forgot to measure the boxes so I can't them out this evening

 

Ok, so I already established that my target was in NJ. Surprisingly, NJ shares a lot of distribution with FL. That made it a little hard.

I was able to get together enough 85 or higher stouts that they don't seem to get, to meet the BIF target oz. requirement. I even hit a couple wants.

Because of this shared distribution, I decided to hit them with extras from the one brewery I know they don't get and that I get easily as they are 10 minutes away, lol.

I hope my target enjoys the goodies!

 

I think me and bypro are the only 2 in NJ so I like my chances!

 

:grins: I think with the size of them boxes they may catch it although i wouldent mind not paying proly 50ish for the shipping... they dont get all butthurt over pulling that?

 

One large box shipped today 39.5 lbs of good loving, enjoy stranger on the other side of the country. You should be able to figure out what the bonus growler is as soon as you pop it open and you will not have to (blank) much longer!

 

Not sure if it's true, but I was told that if they catch large deviations (intentional) you lose your shipping discount on that item...

 

So I've noticed that a majority of the boxes don't contain swag. Is swag generally not included unless stipulated in BIF rules? Basically, do most of you think "I'll spend that $20 on beer for them instead of a shirt"?

 

I was going to, but just decided to keep it beer. T-shirt size was not included in my targets info, so just left it alone and stick with suds.

 

I personally like sending a little bit of swag, but it's optional unless stated in the rules. Nothing wrong with either way.

 

I like sending and receiving a little swag, prefer things like glassware to t-shirts or hats. If I receive a growler in a trade it's always cool to have that as swag too

 

Looks like we have a winner. I think I did OK for my first BIF, look forward to the next one.

 

Hope that means I'm your target! I was leaning toward you, but the growler (blank) thing threw me off. I've not had much beer from TX so I am excited/hopeful. If you are not my sender I feel really dumb now.

 

Blank was in place of the word jealous. The box is huge, not to ruin the surprise but plan on gaining some weight over the next few weeks. Lots of heavy heavy good beers in there plus growler.

 

That's hilarious, because I am actually completing my Advocare 24 day challenge on Wednesday (the day I expect the package to arrive) . I have not had any beer in 22 days and have lost 15 lbs. Looks like a few of those pounds are coming right back! I'm super psyched to receive this box!

Got half of my target's stuff packed up today. Hope to get out by the end of the week!
