That may be. But if he doesn't want to pay the $13 for a sixer, maybe he'd be more willing to pay $7 for the bomber.

Everyone is mentioning Hop Stoopid, which i agree is good for the price, but break it down.. Hop Stoopid @ $4 per 22 is .18 per oz, Sculpin is only $14 per 6 pack which is .19 per oz. If Sculpin is what you really want buy it in 6 packs to get a better value. I also don't agree with Scuplin going bad after 3 weeks, that's an exaggeration if I'v ever heard 1. The enjoy by dates on the bottles are 3 months from bottle date I believe, and if kept cold you shouldn't have a problem with freshness.

    Excellent BA stout $13
    Sculpin 6pk. fresh for $15?

    I'd go Sculpin ALL day.

    Cheers

The Southern Star BA Stout was a one and done. Not to be repeated any time soon.

Although as bombers go, Hop Stoopid at $3.99 is pretty cheap.

It's a good beer, but I never buy it because I never know when it's going to be fresh.

Regarding Sculpin they must be smart then. If it's not fresh, I'd rather buy Full Sail IPA for $7 a six pack.

Not me. I'd rather pay twice as much for something I like instead of settling for something mediocre just because it is cheap.

Assuming a bombers worth in a sitting/session then the six pack of Sculpin could last you three nights (2 12 oz. per night) while that barrel aged stout was only in the house for one. $15 for Sculpin, $39 for equal amount of BAS.

There should be a Julian Date printed on the neck of the bottle. You may have to hold the bottle up to the light to see it.

The Fresh Beer Only! website is a great resource.

You don't get it. Old Sculpin is WAY worse than good Full Sail (Cheapest IPA I could think of).

That's why people in Cali only want fresh Sculpin.
