I would be happy if they just gave every ticket a pour of this years Dark Lord. With the increased price I see no reason why they shouldn't do that this year.

And for those asking about tickets being sold at the brewpub like last year, I might wager taking the day off work next Tuesday. Just a guess...

As someone who has shown up to buy DLD tickets at the pub last year with an expired ID, do not do it. You will be turned away and sulk back to your car while crying. I didn't care about driving around for a few months with an expired license, but being turned away for DLD tickets, the next day my ass was at the DMV making everything right.

That really sucks. If your license is expired a great back up ID is bringing your passport.

I wasn't all bad, I had my responsible, valid ID carrying wife with me who got tickets. I just missed out on buying extras for a few friends and getting more of the BA beers they were selling.

The only downside was it gave my wife more ammunition to make fun and berate be publicly. She has not forgotten about it.

So are the tickets going to be imprinted with attendee names? Does that mean I need to know who my #2 if/when I get tickets? Or is just the user submitting the ticket order?

From the DEV site before they blocked it.

"No admission will be granted without the original purchaser being present to validate their ticket with their ID and then enter the event with his/her guest."

Because Tuesdays have become their release days lately. All of their BA releases are on Tuesdays as has been the past few ZD releases.

That's because it's not a public site yet.

Correct, which means, in a nutshell, that there will be more information in the future.

When you see something like "dev." in front of the URL, you can assume its basically a test site, easily discernible by all of the lorem ipsum (dummy) text. Once it goes live, it will replace www.darklordday.com. Someone on here figured out the link to the test site and posted it. You weren't supposed to see it. So you can ignore it.
