Funny thing is, you go to the News page and there are tons of stories about breweries expanding, breweries introducing new beers, etc. Apparently its only an issue if its a TX brewery.

It's a conspiracy...back and to the left. Back and to the left.

Not surprising... they send stuff occasionally though Shelton Brothers to different parts of the country. I know Alabama got some Weasel Rodeo (it came out right as their bomber/ABV laws were changing)... the NE & Cali gets their regular lineup... and Chicago has gotten a few limited releases as well as their regular lineup (Das Uberkind, definitely)

It's just not a regular thing. They send it if they have extra or are going to an event for what I've seen.

That's cool, I didn't know that many states were getting it already.

South Carolina just got a big shipment of it also. They got all the regulars and Funk Metal, El Cedro, RU-55, and Das Uberkind.

Texas should punish all the other states for their excellent breweries not distributing here by having Jester King not distributing anywhere else.

I grew up in Amarillo, and still go up there twice a year. Its not THAT hard to find craft beer there. Try the World Market over on Soncy (no fridges though), or Spirit Emporium over on Western (pretty big walk in). They both have decent beer selections, and I've seen a couple pictures posted on their local FB beer page of some bottles of Black Metal so they might still have some.

Best bet for a pint of beer is Crush downtown on Polk. Its a wine/beer bar (kinda) but the tap selection is the best in town, and the bottle selection is just as good as any liquor store you'll go into.
575 pizzeria has a good bottle selection, about 6 taps. No BMC stuff on draft. The pizza is killer, I used to work there and miss it.. alot.

    hope this helps

    Cheers!
