bottle shops/beer recommendations in indiana?

    Got a friend going to the northern west side of indy next weekend and wondering if you guys can give me some insight on what they have that us michiganders dont. I already checked seekabrew but it doesnt seem to be very up to date.

    To be more specific, he will be in valperasio, which looks to be 30 miles east of 3 floyds, do you think any shops near there would carry their stuff?

    Have him check out Nick's Liquors...just west of Valparaiso...I believe it's in Merrillville...they generally carry a bunch of stuff...they even had Zombie Dust fairly recently.

    *NOTE: Northern West side of the state != Northern West side of Indy

    If he is that close, have him go to the brewpub. The carryout line is not that bad.

    Uhh yah I knew that man! Lol, it said 30 miles from where he will be, so really he would have to travel 60 miles out of the way.

    Drive down to Indianapolis and visit Asher at Kahns. Great BA! Then go to Brugge Braiserrie and drink a sour and have some mussels. It will be worth the drive trust me!

    I have now read all of the posts in this thread four times and do not see where you said the guy you're sending doesn't like Craft Beer and/or wouldn't be willing to drive a little bit out of the way. "lol"

    sorry should have been more specific, I kinda figured when I said he would have to drive 60 miles just to go to 3floyds that was a clue that he didn't wanna go too far out of his way. its all good though, I think I will have him hit up that nick's liqours.
