Tumaltuous Rare... the best yet?

Siting at the bar now. They still have every thing but buffalo Bock.

 

The barrel monkey is my favorite so far. Prominent hops AND smooth bourbon. Yes they go together! Second favorite has been the buffalo bock. Then tumaltuous rare then wee jack. Thank you Town Hall!

 

Knew it would be the best, since it has rare in the name

 

Anybody know what time they're releaseing Czar jack for pick up? I hope its earlier than what they've been doing during the week

 

I just called them. 5pm for bottles, tapping the keg at 6pm

I'm shooting for a 5pm arrival or a 9pm arrival to avoid the madness!

Btw - I'll trade a Tumaltuous Rare or Wee Jack for a Twisted Jim, Buffalo Bock or Barrel Monkey if anyone is interested

 

I could have sworn I saw Tumaltuous rare on here yesterday when I tried to add a picture. I wonder if someone got overzealous and combined the two beers, or if no one ever added it to begin with (and I got overzealous with adding the pic).

Barrel Monkey. Amazing. Wish they growlered these beers again this year...

 

younger, did you aquire the size 11 you were hoping to get? also, cannot agree more about how good barrel monkey was, I figured it would be good, but completely blew away my expectations.

 

Tough call as to which was best. My favorite was probably the Buffalo Bock. The others were all great, though!

 

Barrel monkey was tasty. Chatted a bit with younger35. Always nice to meet another BA.

 

I gotta agree and say, everything was great -- favorites were Tumaltuous, Buffalo, and Monkey... also, the whole week was run extremely well by the TH crew. Cheers to their hard work, it is much appreciated!

 

Apparently their keg got shook up so they were not pouring Czar Jack when we got there at 9. Really disappointed I didn't get to try it. Anyone have it?

 

Shook up? Does that mean there will still be some left tomorrow?

 

Yeah, that is what they said when I called back at 11.

 

As of noon Sunday Wee Jack, Twisted Jim, Tumaltuous Rare, and Czar Jack are still on. The Czar Jack is fantastic, as always.

 

From the ticketing to the tapping of Czar Jack, the staff of Town Hall ran things as well as I could have expected. Cheers to them!

 

I unfortunately was not able to get tastes of the Monkey or the Czar Jack, I am hoping to go there for lunch on Monday if any one wants to meet for a beer or two. I agree with other people's sentiments, I am kicking myself for only buyin one Bock. Great weekly event, was nice seeing most of the same faces there every day.
