As I said - and I thought fairly clearly:wink: - a can does not let light in, as a bottle does. It absolutely keeps it fresher longer, all other factors (temperature and time elapsed since canning) being equal. That is one of the main reasons why Surly (and more and more breweries) are using them.

Big Top in Eagan had lots of Abrasive dated January 2nd. I passed and ended up going for Rampant and some Two Hearted.

I picked some up last week at Southlake Liquors on Robert Street in West St. Paul dated 1/23/13. I was surprised to see it. Still tasted gooood.

Elevated BWS keeps Surly backstock in the cooler so its freshness is well kept.

Anyone live in Roseville or in the area? I'll be there visiting my fiancée's grandmother who lives up by Northwestern College. Looking to pick up some Surly Abrasive for sure.. what're the best places nearby? Also can bring over anything people might want that's from Wisconsin, e.g. NG or CW BB brews!

Pretty sure all stores keep Surly cold. Due to high demand, this is a condition Surly requires of all retailers.

Also, Falls Liquor is right down the road, no need for Elevated BWS.

Cellars is less than a mile from northwestern and they should be able to accommodate.

Had Furious on draft and Bender from the can... I'm a huge fan of the Bender. Shoulda grabbed some Coffee Bender when I had the chance.
